Every time i buy a skill, the price goes up, and up. ITs gotten to the point where a skill is like 850 gold. Thats way too much... Is this normal, or is there something i can do about it?

yeah it happens :\ it goes up to 1k then doesnt move it really sucks and no there isnt anything u cant do about soz ;( i hate it 2 but once u have a build stick 2 it ;D

No unfortunatly there's nothing you can do....However it will max out at 1000 gold. You can still buy skills after that but the price won't go up any further.
If you have Prophecies you can do the skill quests there but if not, then you're stuck with buying them.

I spent about 25k on skills and cap sigs today just setting my Ele up with new builds. Most of the builds are for farming tho and I made back half of that in a couple of hours.
As you progress through the game things start to cost more but in balance the loot gets better. Monsters drop upwards of 100g each and occasionally rare materials or weapons.
Stick with it and you'll see it working out before long!

spent 291K on just one character getting Signets of Capture for my skill hunter title. Could of had my FoW if I hadn't but it was worth it as now I have all the elites unlocked for my heroes. Too bad you skill hunter title doesn't effect the price of purchasing skills, that would rock.

Yep, tis an unfortunate change they implemented since Factions.
I definitely loved the feeling of 'earning' the skill instead of just buying it. :-(
But in Nightfall, they did compensate by giving us the 'free' keyless treasure chests. And it helps my wisdom title. :-D
