| Wherer are the warplans in the goblin campaign? |
|
|
|
I'm a level 4 goblin and was sent to kill some Invaders, Warmongers and retreive some warplans. The two first parts of the quest are easy enough, but where are the warplans? I can't find them anywhere? I even located a small camp with a boss, but even he didn't have any plans at all. What am I missing?

Ok going by memory here :-)
There's another camp a bit North along the coast of where you found the boss (you need him for the next quest btw)
Ok, not sure if it's actually north or East at that point, but the camp you need is between the camp with the boss and the ship with prospectors you previously visited.
That camp has pretty much everything you need. It's situated up a hill and on top of that hill there's a strongbox (You'll see a ! appear if you move your cursor over it. Open that strongbox and the plans are yours.
Hope this helps :-)

I found the invasion plans, thanks. I have no idea how I could have missed them, as I've been searching that place for a long time.

Woohoo!
Glad to hear you got it :-)
Now a tip for your further progress:
When you get to the first friendly fortress / watchtower, you get the option to start the Diplomacy Tutorial as well as continue (simultaneously) with the adventuring. My advice: Don't skip Diplomacy. The card game is fun, but more importantly, the Diplomacy tutorial quest-lines are always very good stories and really set 'you' in the world. The Martok background is especially cool imo.

I've played a Raki up to level 12 Adventurer, level 15 Crafter and 158 or so Diplomat before I started a goblin. ;)
I love the goblin, and think about starting as a blacksmith. But if you don't mind, I have two questions more.
1. I ran into some orcs and I need to convince them to return home or something. They say I need to talk to them until they agree to go home, but how long is that? I ahd a similar raki quest and got up to Diplomacy level 35 or so. I even beat that sargeant, but nothing happened?
2. I reached level 10 and got Necropsy, and the description say I can start to harvest corpses for things I and the abomination can use. So far I have found a lot of blue items, but can't use any of them? Should I just keep selling them? Thanks.

Blacksmith would be a good choice for a Goblin. You have a racial bonus to mining at the least and I believe for the craft as well.
Those Orcs are part of the Diplomacy Tutorial. In fact, every starter location has a similar group somewhere. Your Diplomacy Mentor providing you with the Tutorial story-line will at some point give you more than one quest. The second one is for these guys. It's a kind of alternative to following the story line. You can train up to level 40 on them, at which point the quest completes and you get prompted to visit the End of the Tutorial NPC. At that point you can choose to finish the tutorial after all, start on the first diplomacy quests (which will get you a free horse and saddlebags) and you can start the Civic Diplomacy Tutorial line.
I'm a bit fuzzy on how the Necropsy thing works. I haven't played a Necromancer myself. I do believe the concept is that you can use body parts from corpses to augment your abomination, or even yourself. I'm not sure how it goes in practice. A Blood Mage can harvest organs from living beings and needs to visit an Assembly Workbench so he can make symbiotes with them. Maybe it's something like that. Or possibly it's as simple as targeting your pet and right clicking the stuff.
Maybe BlackPhoenix can help? I know he has a Necromancer.

Yay for Raki's. But goblins are fun too. All races are fun! Well, except those snotty high elves maybe.
1. Actually every race have outside their city a group of five soldiers you need to convince to return home. It is actually the diplomacy shortcut quest. If people don't want to go through the actual story line of the city they can grind their way to 40 using these guys. Once you reach diplomacy level 40 you can talk to the captain and have it done. Nothing much fun about it. But handy if you don't want to run up and down.
2. I have no idea about Necropsy, but somebody else might.

Typical. My raki is level 35 in diplomacy, so I quit. Just typical. Five levels more, and that's it. ;)
Free horse and saddlebags? Geez, now you tell me. Just a little bit too late. Oh, well. Only cost me twelve silver or so. A necromancer doesn't really need much money anyway, so I had about seventeen or so when I hit adventure level 10. Still, so close... hmpf. :)
