| wierd problem with game amp registration |

|
hi i'm in the process of setting up an account for my girlfriend. filled in the details, accepted, still co confirmation e-mail to activate the account. this was done on wednesday this week.
is it a known issue with hotmail or could the issue be somewhere inside he game amp registration server?
any info on how to resolve this problem would be most appreciated.

good idea, wentthrough the different e-mail boxes, no joy there.
really got me confused. could it be an over zealous e-mail filter in hotmail?

tried that, still no joy, going to set up an account via outlook express, see if that fixes anything.
if not any idea who i would need to contact to get the name delete sso i can set it up via a pop3 account?

is it your email adress that you give in or the one of your girlfriend? maybe the system reconize your email?

nope i reated the account using her hotmail address, my account is set up using a po3 account. i check to see if it was a fault with the incoming server by sending a test mail from ym pop3 account came through straignt away.
this has really got me confused as to why it wont recieve a mail from my girlfriends hotmail account.

when i signed up...i got the email in my junk folder...took my a while to find it...got confused too lol...i guess just go into allowed contacts and put in the game amp email address...

her junk folder is empty. i'm not too familar with hotmail as an email client, is there a way to check if there are any hidden emails there?

Hotmail is notoriously bad for that kind of thing. If you didn't get it straight away you'll probably never get it. Try turning off the spam features briefly and resending. If that doesn't work, perhaps try a different email.

if not where do i go to turn of the spam filter in hotmail?

Click on Options in the top right corner of the page. Have a look in Junk Email Protection settings and Custom Filters settings.

thanks found it, going to see if i can get it to send the email again.
ok recieved the email, the filter was set to destroy instead of sending to the junk folder. unfortunately it destroyed the confirmation e-mail before she could activate the account. is there any way of getting another confirmation email sent out or is that user id wasted?
