Ever since the update to make Heroes more intelligent, (not the Hard Mode one, the one before that one) I've noticed that Dunkoro has gone down in intelligence.
He seems to run right up to the enemies then try to heal. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this. Before, I didn't need to worry about him, but now I need to flag him back constantly. Tahlkora doesn't have this issue, and none of the other heroes seem to have problems either. It's just Dunkoro.

Ive had this issue with koss, dunkoro and Zhed since day 1, which is why i completley stopped using em unless i have to.Plus, heros are as useless as a condom is rosies purse in hard mode

I hate dunkoro i never use him tahlkora is better, zhed does the same thing, if i put him in attack mode he runs right up and casts his spells, i had a problem with this in the kodonur crossroads mission because he'd take all the aggro and end up dying. Zhed you are not a tank D:< zhed=new nooby sin =P

This happens to me everytime. IDK what it is but dunk is the only one. Even on avoid combat he kites into them.
quit gw for good. end of story.

i have the same issues
whenever i use "hardmode" caster heroes run ahead before the melee heroes/henches, wtf ?!?!?!
seems like its part of hardmode so that ppl are dependent to players only teams

I never really had any problem with Dunk.. the only problem I have with hard mode is..
I can be facing 5 monsters with me+3heros and everything is fine.. no one looses much health but the moment we are facing 1 monster.. we all die in like 3 seconds and the monster did not use a single spell/skill/signet or anything.. just a normal attack.. i'm like wth..
I can understand hard mode is well Hard.. but that is messed up

Yep, I have problems with Dunkuro too.
It's not just in hard mode, but also in normal mode. Other heroes/hench don't act different than before.
Dunkuro always walks towards the enemies, or when I run away he, and only he, doesn't follow until later. Also it's only HIM who gets stuck behind just 2 mobs when running past them. Also he is always the first to die.
This all did not happen before the update.

I have had problems with Dunkoro as well, when I was attempting Raisu today with a PuG, he seemed to walk straight at the Ele's who then would dutifully kill him :-( needless to say, the group failed
Smoked all my sigs :-(

Hmm, seems lots of people are having issues with Dunkoro. First off, is he on Do Not Attack? if not put him on it so he wont run up. Second, are you perhaps a Sin,Tank or Dervish? Because on those classes Heroes run in with you if not flagged. The flag bug is still in effect even though they say it was fixed so make sure thats not the issue. There may have been a bug with the past updates. If it isn't these things then its probably a bug that'll get fixed. I did Ranik and Northern Wall with a friend using Dunkoro and we had no deaths (Hard Mode).

I never have problems with any hero or hench. My offensive guys are in Defensive and my monk heroes are in Passive, they don't attack or get attacked.

a) he is on Passive, he does not attack and he (should) try to avoid combat
b) I'm a Paragon, staying mostly in the back
That is why I found it weird Dunkoro acting like this...
Edit: I keep spelling Dunkoro wrong xD

I totally disagree with this......
1 guildie and I with heros did all of Maguuma and all of the Crystal desert in hard mode without a single Failure....
You DO need to position them and you do have to flag them individually as well as keep thier skill windows open to manually key in the more advanced functions, but they are a hell of a lot better than waiting for people to become available when you wanna play ^.^

hmm get some tar, oil and use SF on Dunkoro and Zhed when they run up at least then when they die they'll blow everything around them up ;)
yeah there were some heroes I can't remember which kept aggroing everything within the explorable area xP when I was trying vanquisher with another person the other day but I thought he just flagged them there =/

I play mainly Prot Monk, alongside Dunkoro's Healer's Boon. Despite flagging a melee char to go in and get aggro, he runs up to the enemies.
And I always have my monks set on Do Not Attack.

Hmm not sure why he does that for you guys. He is the main monk I use and I did all of Nightfall with heroes and henchies as well as with that char I did all of Prophecies and Factions with them and no problems of him doing that other than to heal someone. If the person he is going to heal is out of his ranch he runs up till they are in range but other than that he pretty much stays back for me and thats even when I don't flag my group.

I'm only have this problem with my Master of Whispers. If one of his minions gets aggroed he feels the need to rush head on to the person that aggroed his precious minions.

My Dunkoro doesnt run in often, and tahlkora is perfect as a hero
But OMG DAM ZHED!
I put a freakin flag down and he chases with me like 2 diameters of the agro circle
WHEN HES ON DEFENSIVE
I dont use him much now. . .
I want to stab him

Make sure that he is set to Avoid Combat. Any other setting they will do that. On Avoid, I have had no issues with any of my heros.
