| Whats wrong with the lockpicks |

yesterday when i went chest runnin i had a 57% chance to retain the lockpick, but 2day i only have a 27% chance to retain the lockpick, whats wrong?
BTW i have rank 5 chet run & rank 1 Lucky

Well 27% is correct, so if you didnt mis-read last time, it was a bug

Ill explain: In hard mode Lockpicks have less chance to survive(Your stats -40% bonus), in normal mode you get like 40% lockpick bonus. (Your stats +40% bonus)
Transformeurs, more than meets the eye.

only problem i have is the retain rates dont match the the stated percentage
at first i just put it down to wishful thinking but after the test i did only yesterday...
bought 30 lockpicks, went into an area where i get 51% and kept a tally of all retained lockpicks, and out of 30 i got 3 (giving average of 10%), statistically possible but there has to be something wrong since i would have expected to get between about 12 and 18
at 1500 each theyre just not worth it unless you want the unlucky title...

different areas have different chances with lock picks and based on your chances using lock picks in normal can sometimes be an advantage I suggest reading the wiki article for all the info on it

Erm, you mean that bit where i said i went to an area that had a 51% chance to retain lead you to believe that i didnt know that? did you actually read the post or not

That's strange, but still, it's all chance. You'd have to open thousands of chests before you actually got it to 51%. I guess you're just unlucky.
