W/Rt outside of that place in east ascalon with the statue of dwayna (I'm half asleep right now so I can't remember the name). Use the W/Rt UW solo build.

The W/Rt UW solo build works in Minister Cho's Estate too. You kill all the animals that are now level 20 or so. I've never done it, but I heard it works, guess you are able to get to the spot alone as well.

It's Sardelac Sanitarium and you farm the Hulking Stone Elementals. They go down easy and have a pretty good drop rate for me.

Mintaurs in the ice tooth cave drop sickels and tribal axes that have the potential of being maxed. I have gotten a 6-26 sickle on my last run. Just use a triple chop w/mo troll farming build.

It seems that droprate of tribals has increased, i had about 3 tribal white almost max axes while vanquishing ascalon areas.
Transformeurs, more than meets the eye.

The Undead in Nebo Terrace are quite easy to farm. I used a 55 smiter and they go down easily. Drops aren't bad, very high rate of gold Dead Bows from the Skeleton Rangers (6 in one day), I got a req 9 15^50 which my Ranger is now using. Also got a gold max damage Sephis Axe, but the inherent mod was quite bad. Plenty of bone and armour drops as well.

I've been having really good drops recently just doing working on Vanquisher. I've completed all the areas on the first island in Elona, averaging 3-4 golds per run, 6-8 purple, a few tomes per area.
I saw someone selling a Warrior elite tome for 35k yesterday, and a monk one for 12k, so I'd say they're more than ecto's until the market finds a realistic price.
Edit: Just with Heroes/Hench btw.

Cool i just wiki-d those tribal axes they look cool.
Yep nebo terrace rocks, got a 15% -10 armour req 9 dead bow earlier which i sold for 9k.
The hulking stone elementals kind of suck, i don't think they even drop gold weapons.
As to your question - the loot scaling does take effect but it seems to just reduce the common weapons drops.
=====================================================
Argh i cant kill those minotours, they do too much dmg and keep knocking me down when i block, ill try not blocking
Tell you what though, its great up here for SS/ip keep one engaged with a sword.
Theres also so many up here, ive got like a gold and a purple bow in about 10 minutes.
===================================
phew just finished that area, killed 99 minotours,
took a while because its such a large area, shame i only got one gold though and didnt see any tribal axes

Does anybody think maybe celestial weapons will be easier to farm in hard mode, possibly from vermin
( i don't fancy taking on naphui hard mode solo ).
Is anybody else doing like half a run and thinking its really easy then realising you havent switched hard mode on ?

You have to do the mission, don't think the animals are in the explorable region.

@Punisher Zero: elite tomes are specific for a certain profession like monk and your PvE characters can learn any elite skill of the profession of the tome that you've unlocked. Kind of like a super-awesome cap sig where you don't have to kill the boss and it still counts for elite skill track.

Ive found a cool thing to do : don't farm areas like nebo terrace 3-4 runs in a row, because the overfarm code just means
you will get no drops after the first one or maybe two runs,
do one run, wait half a day then do another run, wait a whole day will garantee to give u the same drops as if youve never farmed it before

Sanitarium is the easy and fastest farm I have found for a Warrior. And yes they do drop max dmg golds and a fair amount of loot. Yesterday alone I got 2 golds and a white dye drop from my first run and 2 lockpicks and a few other dyes from the next so I would have to say that it is worth the time to farm there.

Isn't there only about 3 groups there?
ive done quite a few runs there and only ever gotten one gold, ill probably try farming it once a day see if it helps.

About the HM Stone Elemental Bosses... I've had a few people ask me how to beat them, so I'm going to be posting a guide on it soon, however, for the time being I'll leave you all with the build and strategies for each boss. It won't be as detailed as my guide will be, but it'll make enough sense for you to try it.
Attributes:
Restoration Magic: 12
Strength: 12 (10 + Minor Rune + Helmet)
Axe mastery: 3 (2 + Minor Rune)
Tactics: 9 (8 + Minor Rune)
Skills:
1. Vengeful Was Khanhei [Elite]
2. Vengeful Weapon
3. Disrupting Chop
4. Distracting Blow
5. Dolyak Signet
6. Healing Signet
7. Sprint
8. Bonetti's Defense
Pound Cobblestone (Warrior); Timing Difficulty: Easy; Defeat Time: 3 Minutes:
Skills:
Endure Pain
Healing Signet
Shield Stance
This boss against the standard VWK build is impossible to kill, his Healing Signet and Endure Pain combination make it impossible for you to kill him, hence my modifications to the build as listed above.
First off, he can't kill you, it's impossible, unless you just sit there and let him, so, on your first few tries, sit there and do your thing, you'll see his casting pattern fairly easily and you'll also notice exactly why you won't be able to kill him with the standard build. Mainly, his Healing Signet; when he is casting it, he A) Doesn't trigger VWK or Vengeful Weapon and B) Heals for far too much, and far too frequently for your pittling damage to do anything, and even with Distracting Blow, it doesn't recharge fast enough to make a difference, the second time he goes to Heal using the signet, you won't be able to disrupt it and he'll just out heal your previous damage.
Annoying? Of course.
So, here's not only how to beat him, but the most efficient way to beat him and as a direct result, gain the possibility of an easy Elite Tome.
First off, his primary skill casting trigger is his health at 2/3rds or around there, at this point he'll activate his Healing Signet followed by Endure Pain and then, from then on, he'll essentially work to maintain his health in and around this level, and for the most part, if you're not able to stop it, he will. This boss is all about timing and knowing his movements, which isn't too hard at all.
First off, open up the fight slashing him with your axe in order to gain the required adrenaline to utilise Disrupting Chop. Then, activate VWK to significantly lower his health (significantly more than your pathetic 1-2 damage axe attacks), follow up with 1-4 Vengeful Weapons and wait for his casting of Healing Signet, which you will prompty interrupt with Distracting Blow. One more attack (which you should answer with a Vengeful Weapon) and then he'll activate Endure Pain, followed by his second attempt at a Healing Signet, and this time, you're going to use Disrupting Chop. Next, activate VWK, and then slash at him during it's recharge stage to charge Disrupting Chop, using Vengeful Weapon when you get the chance while reserving at least energy for Distracting Blow.
A note however, once Disrupting Chop is charged, cease attacking since doing so may cause you to miss his next attempt at a Healing Signet.
Now, following the steps again, simply rinse, repeat and defeat this pesk of a boss.
Flint Touchstone (Elementalist); Timing Difficulty: Moderate; Defeat Time: 2 Minutes:
Skills:
Aura of Restoration
Eruption
Ward Against Melee
Whirlwind
This boss can be killed with the usual VWK build, however, with this build, it's quite a bit faster, only because you can interrupt Aura of Restoration as well.
Essentially this Boss runs himself dry, that is, he stops being able to out heal or at least match heal himself to your VWK and Vengeful Weapon damage, he won't, however, be able to defeat you, if you're playing the standard VWk build properly.
So, first off, his Aura of Restoration is quite proficient, especially since after using it, he's healed for quite a bit when he casts Whirlwind and Eruption. That said, he apparently does have an energy pool, so eventually he stops casting Eruption (his largest healing skill aparently) and he just dies to your attacks.
Starting up the battle, get him into your aggro range and he'll start casting his skills, Aura of Restoration, Ward Against Melee, and then Eruption. During this time, do not approach him, instead, wait for him to come to you (outside of his Eruption and Ward). Next open up with normal attacks to charge up Disrupting Chop, using Vengeful Weapon to slowly whittle away at his health, make sure Dolyak Signet is up to counter Whirlwind. Once he begins to cast Eruption, use Distracting Blow, cancelling it, and then activate VWK. Once it's recharging, use Vengeful Weapon a few times and then await his last recast of Eruption, which you will counter with Distracting Blow. Use VWK again, and then watch for his Aura of Restoration or Ward Against Melee, both of which you will interrupt, for whichever comes first, this is when you'll use Disrupting Chop. He'll cast Whirlwind again, and then he'll cast whichever of the other two spells he hasn't already, and this is when you'll use the recharged Distracting Blow.
And that's that, Flint ought to be dead by now.
**
Hope all that helps ^^

Ummmm.... I've farmed it about a dozen or so times in a row. Drops are pretty much the same on the last run as they are on the first.
Did they remove the anti-farm code from HM too? I thought they only took it out of NM.
Still trying to figure out how to bring down those HM Ettins with my monk though...
