| Need Help With a Descision |

I have completed 7 out of my 8 character slots and need help making a descision on which char to make last... the remaining 3 I have yet to use are MONK, MESMER, and ASSASSIN, but my derv is a hybrid assassin, so I'm not that interested in a sin.
So it comes down to either a Monk, or a Mesmer.
Opinions?

I love my monk...never have a problem finding a group either on her. Mesmer, I never had a problem with groups either but alot of others seem to find that to be more difficult... It's a matter of opinion really. Do you prefer standing back and watching the health bars and being responsible to keep everyone alive... or would you prefer being more offensive and casting spells...degen, interrupts etc etc...Both can be great fun to play... Just depends if you're wanting to be offense or defense...well. Mesmer can technically be a faster casting healer as well... bah.
I love my monk...I liked being a mesmer as well. But /shrugs. Good luck in deciding. I would probably end up buying another slot and just having every profession if I couldn't decide. heh.

My mesmer I only use in PvP so I only use a PvP mesmer char. Not roleplaying.

Why not just keep your last slot for pvp? then you can keep switching proffessions about and play anything you feel like at the time

when it's done i delete him again :D

here are some of the pro's and cons of both
MONK
Pros:
Easy to join groups
Can help to improve your reflexes
Cons:
Requires very quick reflexes
People in most PvE areas want healers or prots, but its very rare that they want smiters
MESMER
Pros:
Energy Denial
Degen
Cons:
Hard to get in to groups
Doesn't do straight out mega damage
Not the easiest class to play (quite complex)
