| Thoughts on the farming update |

Well personaly, i know alot of people hated the update where it scaled the farming. I LOVE IT! Look at ectos, they are what 7.5k now? What happened is that all the prices for everything got extremly high and are now coming back down. I was lucky to sell all my stuff before prices went down. black dye is 8.5k white 4.5k now gems are 4-7k. Next is going to be overall weapon prices. This new update is going to make it fair to the people who dont farm whereas before the farmers obviously got all the money which kept prices really high up. I was a avad farmer and still do it for the heck of it and the challange. Money in hard missions is extremly rewarding, you get 1k per mission in tyria. I got 8k for beating the doppleganger with my characters :D. to bad thats only once ill get that :P

I really like it. It's pretty nice except for the fact that my ele sword went from 100k+80 ecto to 100k+60 ecto which made me lose tons of money. I really like how ectos have dropped.

tbh i really agree with this.
because its like the good old no scatter days, you get less drops but you gotta farm more of the things in normal mode, and thats pretty easy with no scatter :)
ty anet i may finally get my FoW in a month or two

im against all of that lol unlike u people i had trouble making money as it was now its even harder but it has encouaged me to do more tombs and follow along the story more tho

They didn't fix the economy...they just made everyone come up with new builds for hard mode. Also the confused some bot's for the time being.

I like the farming update overall except for solo farms as most of the money there was from all the junk you could sell at merchant for 50-120g a piece. It is nice that Anet made sure to keep greens, golds, rare materials, etc out of it. :)

Why would having everything be cheaper and making those that worked hard for their stuff make it a good update? To me if you Pve at all and you are poor ur either lazy or new to the game and don't know how (or just bought new weapons/armor). I'm glad they fixed it though so it nerfs bots for a lil while and makes worth something to solo farm especially with Elite tomes /drool.
