Creature Screenshot Competition
The next time your facing one of the many gruesome (or not so gruesome) creatures across the world of GW try and get that bit more 'up close and personal'. You will be surprised at the detail and awesomeness of some of those creatures out there, often overlooked while in the throws of battle you may well be impressed.
How to enter
Screens need to be submitted to our Creatures Gallery between Tuesday 1st May and Thursday 31st May.
Screens must be completely un-edited (excluding changing the screen format from BMP to JPEG), any kind of visual editing will disqualify the screenshot submission.
Screenshots must be taken without the inclusion of the panels, do this by holding the shift key while pressing the Print Screen button.
For information on using screenshots on this site please read this guide.
Screenshots don't need to be labeled for this competition, simple submission to the creatures gallery between the above dates will be enough for automatic inclusion.
Screens can be from any area, any campaign.
The Prizes
The top 5 most awesome creature shots will each win the following:
Ingame prize of a Glob of Ectoplasm (ingame gold value of between 6k and 9k)
On site prize of 50 Credit (this is in addition to the usual 10 credit for a screenshot submission)
Winners will be announced a week after the closing date.
Entries will be judged by the gameamp staff.
Each member can only submit a maximum of 5 screenshots for each months competition
Get clicking away - Getting that Glob of ectoplasm from a screenshot submission has gotta be easier than farming the Underworld. Look forward to seeing those awesome shots and good luck!

I'm just curious, what is the command that gives you first person view? I couldn't find it in the guide that was mentioned.
Oh, and this sounds like a wonderful competition I would like to say, thank you for letting us all participate =D

I don't know if there is also a command but the simplest thing to do is zoom in to first person view using the scroll wheel on your mouse.

Sorry but it does need to be an original screen we haven't seen before, I'm guessing you mean't this one, which is one of the funniest I've seen, I've moved it to the creatures gallery as it fits nicely there.

i recon the best thing to do is assign the zoom to the page up and page down keys in the options menu of GW.

I suggest...new mouse? xp (for now set it to something like keys 9 and 0, don't think they have a use to start with)

Definately not seeing enough submissions for this one, really want to see some more close ups of those creatures out there :=)
There have been a few submissions that have been heavily cropped , please submit the uncropped screen and bear in mind rules about editing.
