So I have a very sad announcement to make. One that I'm sure a few of you have seen coming. I am no longer with GameAmp. Now the site isn't going anywhere, and the almighty "Powers that Be" are still around and thriving. So the only real change will be the line of communication. Now when you have a problem, you need to go to an active member of staff on your site and send them a message rather than me. They will then contact the wonderful "Powers that Be" to get the problem taken care of, well unless it is of course one they can take care of themselves.
I know this isn't the best of news. But it isn't a perminate goodbye. I am taking a bit of a break from the site. Taking some time to get settled into my new job, and get my brain used to leaving the house every day and dealing w/ humans face to face. I do plan on popping in every now and then and saying hi. It just might be a bit down the road before I do so. I will also still answer PM's sent to me, there just might be more of a delay than there had been. Right now I'm on the site once every few days to check my messages, but I'm not sure how long that will last before I take a total break.
This past year being your Community Manager has been a dream come true. It was really wonderful dealing w/ the great community of GameAmp. I had a lot of fun doing my job, and really did learn a lot about myself in the process (one being I don't like wearing clothes to work *grin*). You guys have all been really great to me in the past year, and I would like to thank all of you for that. All of you will always have a very special place in my heart.
And before I start babbling to much I'm going to end this here. I will try to check this thread as much as possible to answer what questions I can. But no promises for how frequnetly that will be. Training at work right now is pretty mind numbing, and there are days when I get home where I just want to sit and stare at a wall for a bit while my brain unmelts.

Thank you for all the wonderful ramblings, jokes, updates, news posts, prods, problem solvers, guidance, help, humor, presence, etc, etc. I am so happy I found GameAmp while you ruled here. And now I am even happier knowing you have a great future ahead of you. I will never forget you. You will for always be Ms. GameAmp. Farewell, oh great one.

/em fancy bow, A true friend in the forum world, you had all the answers (some I did not want to hear)heheh. Gameamp was my first forum site I ever became a part of & you made it fun ,well informed, knowledgeable & most of all made me feel welcome. You will be missed & your presence was a true delight, every time I clicked on my friends list & saw you online I felt a bit more at ease if there was ever a problem.
The best part is...More cookies for me!!!! woohoo! Of course I jest, good luck to you in your future endeavors.

I am saddened at you good bye but happy for your new experiences, especially wearing clothes to work. What a rush!!
I will always remember your friendly welcome when I first posted, you have managed to make everyone feel welcome and a contributer to the site.
You will be remembered for your humorous and tactful way of handling any and all issues.
You have been a great example of what a Amper should be.

A sad day, a sad day indeed. When I 1st came to Gameamp you were one of the people that really made me enjoy this site. So much so I came back more and more and more and well now I wont leave. Over time you invited me into the ranks of staffer and helped me grow in the site(s). And I thank you greatly for all that you have done for me. You have been a friend and a colleague (in a sense), I doubt anyone will have an impact on me as you have done.
There is now an immeasurable void in your absence and none shall be able to fill it. This isn't a tragedy of some horrible nature but it does remind me of a quote.

Like I said this isn't a tragedy in the sense of death but we have loss someone that many of us admired, enjoyed, and will miss greatly. I know you will return but it wont ever be the same withOUT seeing Thejeni (Comm Manager) or Thejeni (Crazy Forum Poster). In my opinion none shall live up to your image, no one shall ever reach your status, and none shall ever reach the popularity you held among us. I hope none of this sounds dramatic...over dramatic....overdone but to some Ampers knowing Gameamp means knowing Thejeni. Now its almost as if we lost the Amp.
I for one will look forward to your return (and they better be frequent). I will bother you in any way possible that I can. Goodbye Boss, the Grif will miss you.

I don't really know what to say. Jeni was the first person that I ever contacted from the site. I was having an avatar issue, and she stepped up to help me out. Since then, we've had some ups and downs, but she's always been a true friend. As you already know, I wish you luck with your new job. I'm still waiting on an e-mail update.

I actually am now training (an 8 week process) to be a Customer Service Rep for T-mobile. So if you have T-mobile *grin* and call CS there is a chance (after the first week in June) that you will get me. Of course there are thousands of reps across the nation so the chances are slim, but there is still a chance.
But a job as a manager in a cookie factory sounds really yummy...er I mean good. I may have to see if there are any of those around town.

Grif hit the nail on the head.
It's not often that one person has that much positive effect on so many people. TheJeni has taught a lot of us how to be good posters and how to enjoy a forum community. We all need to remember the lessons she's taught us, and the kindness she's shown us.
It's not often you get to run across someone like her.
Jeni was the first person to officially "Welcome" me to the site. Actually Welcomed me. Where else do you get that in the forum world other than at GameAmp?
This could easily end up just being another one of my long winded posts, but all of the sudden I'm feeling a loss for words............ You will be sorely missed.

Awwww no more crying guys! GameAmp is still that super duper wonderful place that you can come to to talk about the game you love and are addicted to. And w/ how great everyone in this community is, you guys only needed a little push in the right direction w/ welcoming new members and being helpful. It really was a pleasure working for the site and all of you guys. I do miss it. Sometimes it is quite hard for me to stay away.

This is what I get for leaving for a bit. I check back on everyone and TheJeni is gone.
Jeni... I just want to let you know (and this goes for many of you others as well), I am amazed at the effect someone can have on a person, that you have never met in person and only have gotten to know from this forum.
You have touched so many people and have been a wonderful part of our lives. Whether it was years or only a few months, you have the ability make everyone feel welcome and make them feel like they matter, that this site is better and wouldn't be the same without them. People need to know that they make a difference. They need to know that they would be missed if they stopped coming around, or they would be remembered if they died.
You have the special gift to make people feel like they matter. Like what they said was special and made your day.
Right now all I can say is THANK YOU!
You have made this forum feel like family, and I am honored to be a member of this Asylum.
I believe it is unfortunate that we rarely see the impact we make in other people's lives. So often things go unsaid or their actions are taken for granted.
I hope that any time you feel like you aren’t making a difference and who you are doesn’t matter, you just stop in here and post a quick hello. You will quickly see all the people you have touched and changed and affected.
Because of how you ran this forum and treated the people here, they may go out and change other forums or affect other people at their workplace, all because you chose to say something to them or make them feel like they were family.
