I don't know about you guys, but the new auction house and new invention salvage is the best thing to ever happen to my low lvl toons, my lvl 9 mm got 200000 inf from one common salvage peice!

Grats on your success.
I know those that have played other MMOs felt that CoX needed to get a marketplace concept to balance out or make the game more interesting. Good to hear you have found some early success with this.
I'll be figuring this whole system out tonight as the only thing I was able to do yesterday was download the patch and maybe get some toons logged in for the badge.

Ive been quite lucky, ive already earned the first 3 selling badges :D (almost got my forth 0_0) at least i dont have to worry so much about not being able to buy SO's now :)

it's been pretty interesting so far. I don't have real missions, so working in Warbug and Newspaper missions have gotten me some good stuff. I had issues about being able to afford SOs because the toon i'm currently on is in VG mode strictly for the prestige. So, with this being said, in one day I went from 2mil infamy to 10mil infamy all on the black market. Funny the things people will buy, but oh well, trying to get mine prior to things settling down as well.

I stil ldont know if i liek this market stuff, teh inventions are cool but i just dont know about the marker part (WoW coems to mind -_-)
Im making no money because the most expencing thing ive sold so far i sold for only 10,000
I dont intend to sell for stupidly high prices either, villain though i am i intend to be an honest seller.

I am just working on my badges for Godless and have sold over 200 items at the BM. I have made over 17 million infamy for him so far. I sell cheap so it sells fast and have done very well with it. Any dropped inspiration that my VG don’t need I will sell for 10 infamy. Dropped Enhancements I don’t need for 5K minimum. And recipes I will sell for anything really just t get rid of them. Salvage is were I have made a lot of infamy. I have gotten a few rare pieces of salvage out of Bloody Bay killing CoT. Other then the diamond I sold for 6 million everything was sold bellow 1 million. I have also been making base components from salvage I have bought. It cost me about 90K to buy the salvage I needed, I made 2 components on thee Empowerment Tables in the base and sold them for 150K each. I will probly do more of those. I have also transferred infamy to my low levels through the BM. That’s a lot easier them me having someone do it for me. GET YOUR INFAMY NOW ! ! In a few week the market will be flooded with items and prices will be a lot lower.

The way i see it, one man's trash is another man's treasure...
Let that man decide what it's worth to him for that trash or trinket or treasure. That's what the market is for, people to decide how important what is to them and what they want to pay...
I just look and see what an items been selling for and that's usually the range i stick around...nothing too outrageous, just what's already going on currently. I do have some items that have been harder to sell, even with reduced prices...but it all must go!!!
