Ok, I know there are a ton of Issue 9 topics out there now but i'm starting this one hoping for something alittle different. Feel free to post any little tricks you might of found about the stuff that thay added.
I'll start us off.
If you right click on a baddie and goto the info theres a new tab that shows what Salvage they drop. This is good if you have a recipe and need some salvage and just can't wait till the prices drop on the market ^&^
If your not Selling anything at Wentworths, you can use your sale slots to store extra Salvage. Just don't set a price and they will hold for you, free of charge.
dunno, brigadier. but i was wondering, what can one use regular salvage for besides base stuff? i notice i can sell it at stores, and could get a lot of inf for selling 10000 pieces of useless junk for 100 a pop.

In the case of SOs the efficiency drops at 3 SOs of one type. What would be the cut-off for a level 53 IO?
The drop off isn't based on the number of enhancements slotted. It's based on the total bonus you get from all enhancements slotted. The effectiveness is reduced if the total from all the normal bonuses from all enhancements of any origin on that power would be more than a certain number, based on the feature of the enhancement affected. For most enhancement types, it's 70%. 3 SO's crosses that cap. Your second SO almost reaches it. 2 SO's and a DO would cross it. Since a level 53 IO has about the same effectiveness as a level 53 SO, it would also cross that line on the 3rd enhancement.
RonJ79 made us some nifty reference tables to show how this affects the effectiveness of SO enhancements. (You aren't likely to need to worry about this if you aren't using SO enhancements yet.)

At SCU, there is a conversion recipe that is called "Base to ???? Salvage" and vise versa.
A common theory/rumor is that the Devs will put in a "Convert Base Salvage to Invention Salvage". Until that day, we must settle with helping out our SG's with our Base salvage :|

Not at all. Base salvage is now easily available any time you need it. I've been able to fill the bins of every chapter of the Legion of Catgirls for which I am responsible and will be easily able to fill the bins of all the other SG's in which I participate. The only limiting factor is time. I even make a profit while doing it.
All your base architect needs to do is go to the auction house and bid on component salvage. If you can't get the kind of component salvage you need, it doesn't cost all that much influence to buy the base salvage you need to make your component salvage.
i'm not sure if this is a glitch or what but i have noticed that with the simple IO's i get alot more influence by selling them at the stores than i do at WW, in which i have to pay a fee to post. i.e. lvl 50 dmg post at WW with all the fees and such made like 47k turned around and sold it to a store in Kings and made 117k
although for uncommon and rare recipes they only offer like 8k-10k a piece
