My Introduction
Hello Game Amp!
First I'd like to say that I've been looking at the guides on this site for a little over a month now, and I think that they are all great. They've really helped me out. So thank you everyone who has posted one.
I've been playing Guild Wars for a little over 4 months now. I have Proph and NF. I play in the American servers. All my characters' names begin with "White" and end in a latin word that somewhat relates to their primary profession. My characters are:
White Magnus [Mage] (Elementalist) Lvl 20
White Centurion [Warrior] (Warrior) Lvl 20
White Moritferus [Something Deadly] (Necromancer) Lvl 20
White Crepusculum [Dusk] (Dervish) Lvl 12
White Arca [Bow and Arrow ](Ranger) Lvl 2
Those are my characters current levels. The word in the brackets is what the latin word means.
If you ever want to talk to me in game I will more than likely be on my Mage, Necromancer, or my Dervish. So just PM me and we can hang out.

My own IGN (if you ever need help), is Wyat Hawke (no, really? O.o).
I like your idea about using Latin btw, whatever you say in Latin sounds more serious ^^. if you ever intent to make a monk or supporting paragon, I'd suggest using the term "placebo" (Latin, and means; I wish to please (you)).

It's quite easy really. Whenever you see a really good post, you can choose to "rate" their post, from 1-10 (ten being the best). The member will then receive an extra bonus to his/her credibility points (aka, creds). You can also get creds from submitting screenshots, tips and hints, histories and guides. I for an example have 563 credit at the moment, which you can see under my name. It's a way of showing how much people have contributed to the community really, but it isn't worth much except more than a cosmetic factor I would say. Also, when you reach a certain point of cred, you are also given the option to give minus creds... I believe you need 1500 points or so to do it, not entirely sure. It's a lot, that is all I remember.
It's kind of obsolete. You can't give negative credit until you are of a certain level, I forget what it is. Right now, you can use the button near the bottom of a post to rate somebody from 1-5. Later you can go up to 10.

Welcome To GameAmp White Lobster!! I hope you enjoy your stay...and is "Lobster" a latin word? lol And if it is, what does it stand for besides a type of crustatian or however u spell that. lol

No Lobster is not a Latin word, although the latin word for lobster is Locusto, but thats beside the point.
The reason I put the name Lobster is because 12 years ago my best friends older brother gave me that as a nickname. My real name is Bobby, and he used to call me Bobster the Lobster. And ever since then everyone who knows me has called me Lobster.
Oh and thank you to the ppl who explained the rating thing for me.
