What new power set would you like to see

What new stalker power sets would you like to see added to the archtype? They touch on toxic damage with the spines stalker set, but I think it would be interesting to see a whole set dedicated to poison and toxic damage. It might not be very good for PVP since much of it is DOT instead of burst damage, but it would make for an interesting theme to play.

lvl 1- Poison Touch- Deals minor damage to foe but recharages very fast.

lvl 1- Infliction- Does DOT damage to foe and recharges fast.

lvl 2- Venomous Touch- Creates burst of toxic damage in a foe with chance of minor DOT afterwards.

lvl 6- Assassins Poison.

lvl 8- Build Up

lvl 12- Placate

lvl 18- Venomous Breath- Short range cone attack that does DOT, slows regeneration rate and gives high chance of short disorient.

lvl 26- Contagion. Deals high amount of damage to single melee foe. High chance that other melee foes close to him will start taking DOT.

lvl 32- Toxic Cloud- Create a AOE cloud that causes all foes inside to take DOT, become helpless as they become sick and vomit, and have a chance of disorient.

i would like spears for brutes, tanks, stalkers, and doms.

Brute/Tank powerset, Spear Melee

1) Thrust- Medium damage, Medium Recharge
1) Jab Spear- Low damage, Fast Recharge
2) Hurl Spear- High Damage, Medium Recharge, ranged
6) Swipe- Medium Cone damage, Slow Recharge.
8) Butt end- Hits foe with the butt end of your spear to disorient them
12) Taunt
18) Phalanx- Like Rage but increase damage resist and defense.
26) Overkill- Ranged Superior Damage, slow recharge
32) For the gods- Extreme cone damage, long recharge

Stalker Powerset- Spear Assassin

1) Thrust- See above
1) Jab Spear- See above
2) Hurl Spear- See above
6) Assassins thrust
8) Build Up
12) Placate
18) Sweep- Wider Cone then swipe with more damage
26) Over Kill- See above
32) For the Gods- See above

Well I don't have all the names and powers I'd like to see but I do have a build.I was talking with a friend and we were going over all the powers and something came up about Shivans and how there Radiation Melee attacks were so cool.We thought a Rad./Rad. Brute would be awesome for the game.

A psi powered stalker would be pretty interestin as well. You could go up to your foe and slam your palm into their forehead and cause a massive psi blast to fry their brains. Your level 18 power could be a melee ranged confuse.

Sand epic, high damage resistance as your made of sand, self flight abilty, the ability later to make dupilcates of yourself (bit like phantom army, in that they only lawt a short while but do real damage)

gota love the sand man, one of my all time spiderman heroes/villains (since he plays on both sides)

Sand is a pretty cool idea. I'd started this as a stalker thread, but I think a sand/sand Brute would be a cool power set. You could have a few powers that slow your opponents down as part of the secondary set, like a pool of quicksand around you. And having an AOE sandstorm blast all your foes could be your level 32 power in the primary set.

Well though i said epic it would defo be a brutish set but it could work well as a stalker, heres a stalker set ive designed as this is in the stalekr section, enjoy :)

Sand melee - Primary

Sand punch - Turns fists into sand and punches twice (like barrage) - Minor damage - recharge 2 seconds

Sand smash - Makes a larger sand fist and punches (simular to stone fist) - Moderate damage - recharge 4 seconds

Sand mace - (like haymaker, puts two fists together to make a big 'spike ball' of sand) them slams it into your foe - High damage - recharge 8 seconds

Assassins storm - Typical AS attack, turns arm into a sand sword and stabs them simular to assassins blade (NB) - Special damage - recharge (however long assassins attacks recharges are, wasnt it 15 seconds unslotted)

Build up - regular recharge

Placate - regular recharge

Sand blast - AoE cone attack simular to ice tanks frost and jacobs ladder for elec brutes, all foes in a short cone infront of the stalker get blasted by sand, and their accuracy is lowered due to sand in the eyes - Moderate damage - recharge 12 seconds

Sand cleaver - Turns arm into a big sand axe and swoops upwards, knocking your foe into the air (same as BA tankers swoop) - Superior damage - recharge 12 seconds

Sand fury - Turns both arms into sand swords and preforms a whirling slice attack (basically eviscrate with sand swords instead of claws) AoE Cone - Extreame damage - recharge 16 seconds

This set has a natural accuracy debuff to each attack due to sand in your foes eyes (sand blast especially)

Sand shield - secondary

Sand armor- Regular smashing and lethal protection (toggle) lowers attackers damage as opposed to avoiding it as goes for most armors in the sand shield set- Sand covers your body

Sandy skin - Auto on smashing and lethal protection

Reform body - (Like dull pain) adds to your total life while healnig you a little, grants minor toxic resistance - Animation shows you covering parts of your body in sand that glides up your legs onto body parts

Hot sand - Covers you body with red hot sand to lower all fire/cold damage (toggle) - Reddy looking sand appears over patches of the body

Black sand - Patches of your body become covered in black sand, reducing all energy and negative damage taken

Fragmented mind - You cover your mind with a layer of sand inside of your head, making it harder for foes to land psychic damage on you (this power makes you mroe likely to avoid taking psycich damage as opposed to resisting psychic damage). This also allows you to become more focused, meaning you can better see hidden foes and become protected from stun, knockback, hold, immobilise and confusion (toggle) - The top of your head becomes slightly more sandy and forms a 'helmet' like projection (sand afro wooo)

Throw sand - Allows you to throw a handful of sand at one enemy's face, effectivly hiding you for a few seconds (a second placate) while debuffing their overall accuracy(click) - throws a small trail of golden sand

Swirling sands - Sand swirls around your body reducing the accuracy of all enemies nearly, some enemies maybe over come by this sand storm and will be knocked back (think of it as hurricane from the storm summoning set like the tsoo sorcers use) (toggle, high end cost) - Golden sand swirls around your charaters body

Sand merge - While this power is active you merge your entire body into a sandy figure, maknig you resistant to all types of damage (minus psy) and highly resistant to status effects, while reciving a slight health regeneration speed boost (but no boost to endurance). However while in this form you become much slower (30% speed decrease and recharge decrease) and cannot jump, fly or use Super speed. Your damage remains unchainged however. Covering your body in this much sand requires a high concentraion level that can only be kept up so long. You will be drained of all endurace for a short while when this power elapses, and this power cannot be used in conjunction with any other shield powers in the set (swirling sand may still be used, but think about it, why use a knockback when your attack/movement speed is cut) - While active your character complelty turns into a pile of golden sand, your legs dissappear under the bulk of the sands to illistrate the minus speed. You form human shape and become taller (auto -> 8foot)

A sand stalker does sound like a great idea and I love the power choices you came up with. Several of them are almost identical to what I'd been thinking for a sand brute, especially the sand blast which I'd imagined as the same power, in the same level slot and even with the same name that you chose. I also love the idea of being able to blind foes with sand in the eyes.

Hehe yeah its the ultimate in fighing dirty technique, after all you cant hit what you cant see :P

I was thinking (for the noverlty value) of making a sand tsunami attack when your character grows to like 10 feet tall and spreads out really wide andut belly flops them :P as a sorta targeted area of affect power but thatsut taking the biccy

How about a psycic based stalker set. You could use psycic powers to explain your hide and ability to keep people from seeing you.

Lvl 1- Brain Blast- Touch foe and do psychic damage. Damage is minor but recharges very fast.

Lvl 1- Psychic Blade- Create a psyichic blade and damages foe for moderate damage. Recharge fast.

Lvl 2- Brain Burst- Melee cone attack causing moderate damage with high chance of disorient. Recharge medium.

Lvl 6- Assassins Stroke.

Lvl 8- Build Up

Lvl 12- Placate

Lvl 18- Confusing Touch. Melee single target confusion.

Lvl 26- Brain Scream. Ranged single target psychic attack that causes heavy damage and has high chance of disorient.

Lvl 32- Mind Crusher- Short ranged AOE that causes heavy psycic damage to all foes within a short distance from melee range. Causes a decrease in defense and has a high chance of causing disorient as well.

Well, in a round about way, new power sets are coming. You can go to the OB's via this link (borrwoed from the Hero side) and select from several options as the next possible power set that could be introduced into the game. May not be what's been mentioned here, but the selections seem to be interesting to say the least.

I saw those but they also mention those powers are for the hero side. Still, some of those new ones sound interesting.

Yeah, although it was listed as Hero only powers, my thoughts are down the road somewhere, they may be instituted on the Villain side (as rumors are they are picking up some of our power options/selections soon).

I would like to see some type of dual wielding wether it be swords, daggers, claws or whatever just something like that and if not that at least they should give us the choice to choose which hand we want our weapon in ^_^

A good choice for a dual weapon power set might be sais. It would fit right in with the stalker theme and I bet some good powers can be made to support them. Perhaps give one power that's the equivalent of divine avalanche and gives you more defense than attack, or one where you could throw a sai in a ranged attack.

I was thinking more along the line of a scimitar. The attacks would be similar to a blade dancer, swift and elegant. They would get some swift and cool looking attacks like...

1) Fierce Slash - Basic slash with a single sword.

1) Dual Swipe - Slashes with one sword followed quickly by the other sword.

2) Double Slash - An over head slash with both blades.

6) Assassin's Slash

8) Build up

12) Placate

18) Dancer's Deflection - Swipes several times with both blades to deflect and attack

26) Scimitar Tornado - Does several slashes with both blades in a spinning/dancing motion

32) Final Strike - Speed dashes through the enemy while striking them with both swords in a X shaped fashion

Yep thats about it ^_^

I like the idea of introducing a new set that deals a different type of damage than the others, which is why I previously mentioned a poison and a psi set. A cold based set could be very cool as well.

Lvl 1- Frigid Touch. Touches foe and deals minor cold damage. Recharge very fast.

Lvl 1- Ice Sword from dominator ice secondary

Lvl 2- Ice Sword Circle from dominator ice secondary.

Lvl 6- Assassins Freeze.

Lvl 8- Build Up.

Lvl 12- Placate.

Lvl 18- Frost Breath from dominator ice secondary.

Lvl 26- Frost Bite- Single target melee hold that does cold DOT to foe.

Lvl 32- Greater Ice Sword from dominator ice secondary.

And of course, you could introduce a secondary set based off the ice tank set in order to go with this.

You know what I would like to see, the choice to choose which hand we wield a weapon in or mainly attack with. I mean it gets really annoying at times. I would only use my left hand if my right hand was wielding another weapon.
