well i just found out im going to rock the bells in san fransisco(Rock the bells ) so i was wondering whats everyones favorite concert they have been to or going to :)

I'm going to several concerts soon that I am really looking forward to, so at the end of the year you will know my answer haha:
Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath, Megadeth, and Machine Head)
Roger Waters
Sting and the Police
Rush
Dream Theater
Possibly some others, depends
Heaven and Hell is on Thursday so I'll post on Friday :)

I saw heaven and hell was an amazing concert probably my second favorite yet other than Iron Maiden on their early years tour.

Rise Against in Denver, 11/10/06 w/Billy Talent, Thursday, and Circa Survive.. was amazing.
Im looking foreward to another Rise Against Concert (w/Silverstein and Comeback Kid) next September.
This summer ive got plans for Ozzfest and Warped (maybe)
So im excited!

The best concert I've ever been to was also my first; Summer Sanitarium 2000. Metallica (w/ no Jame Hetfield but was still pretty awesome set), Korn (who is by far the BEST live band I've seen), Kid Rock (who sucked HORRIBLY imo), Powerman 5k and SOAD. I was pretty hammered that day and night, and it was extremely hot and long lines, but was awesome. At the time I wasn't a fan of SOAD and thought PM5k was alright, but it was still a blast!!!
I still want to attend Psychopathic Records "Gathering of the Juggalos". I have a good chance to this year but my wife went back into the military so we're waiting to see where she's gonna be stationed at. But, hopefully in the near future I'll get to attend.
Band wise, the bands I want to see and have yet to are H.I.M, cKy, and Aerosmith.

I'm not a concert go-er, especially to rock concerts as they blow my ears out (even with earplugs).
However, of the concerts I've been to that play within my range, I've caught two Beau Soleil concerts (one at our zoo amphitheater, right next to the elephants). Great Cajun music!
Way back in high school, some friends told me about a Faith No More concert, where the best performance was apparently an impromtu cover of that old Nestle white chocolate commercial song ("...creamy white, dreamy white..."). Wished they'd recorded it.

- Pink Floyd; Division Bell Tour 1994
- Roger Waters; 2006
- Opeth; several gigs; Ghost Referees tour (2x ;p )
- Fairport Convention 2004 (i think it was)
- Dream Theatre; Scenes from a Memory tour

Best show i've been to was Cold by far...
that was back when flyleaf opened for them and they were not heard of at all/undiscovered
I'm seeing Underoath this coming up Friday...Underoath, Norma Jean, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, and The Glass Ocean
my dream show would be to see Glass Casket or Opeth or As I Lay Dying because i love each of those bands...lots
