Excited cause Blizzard is making another MMO... Ive got nothing with starcraft though. :)

just from playing WoW i know it will be a good game, but, i just do not want it to draw to much attention away from WoW. i will play it though because starcraft was a good game, it'll be just like wow with a spacey sorta twist, could be very interesting.

It's been ages since I've played starcraft. But I wonder how they are going to turn such a spacy theme into a MMO. O.o

I'm sure it will be a great game. I don't have much interest in playing it though. I may check it out, but I love WOW too much to stray. And I'm not too big on the spacey theme. I'll stick with Unreal Tournament for that kind of stuff. I hope we don't lose too many WOW players to Starcraft =P

If you read the article they say that the object will be to make it different that wow...but if they go too different than wow it could alienate the HUGE wow fanbase they have, but if they go too similar it could be like Meh another wow...I dont know what they will do, it will have to be different enough so people will want to subscribe to both though. Maybe a discount if you subscribe to both?
LoL discount if you have the wow visa and subscribe to both probably...lmao
diablo mmo? hmmm...dunno could be fun. Feels like they are just trying to kick Eve off the radar though.

Ok I thought Starcraft was an MMO... will someone please explain to me what starcraft is and whats an MMO. I know its Masive Multiplayer Online Role PLaying Game but I thought starcraft was massive, multiplay, and online...

Well, I think this is the one they abandoned starcraft: Ghost for, so It has to be a 1st/3rd person game. I personally would love it to be just like wow... single characters with classes and races (though who will roll anything other than protoss with the exception of ghosts). It couldn't be too similar, vehicle control would be fantastic, imagine 1st person in space. I have high hopes for this and maybe they will do what cryptic did with the coh/cov games and discount monthly fees for both games.

Starcraft was a RTS that you could play online through battlenet, not the saem as an MMO because its a short-term goal, and your commanding unit versus a single player based.
And free MMOs from Blizzard? Ya right, I wouldnt hold my breath on that one...
Also ya know why pay to play games are generally better? because they are constantly patched, updated and run smoothly? Know why? Because they have the money to pay top quality programers to keep the game and servers up and running. Yeah people complain about blizzard doing stupid things all the time but the fact of the matter is the servers are on when they are supposed to be 99% of the time, the game runs smoothly, patches are regular and the content is good. So, yeah I wouldnt even advocate a free MMO. Selling the software for the game doese not make enough money to keep the designer team, development team, writing and various other people on staff. You either end up with underpaid or low quality staff that way and its just not worth it.

They cant fit in the smaller fighters because of their big panda butts. Thus Pandas in Space will never reach fruitation, plus its really tough to get bamboo to grow in the deep vastness of space....so there is a strike.
Oh and pandas dont pwn so it would be the least played race.

I would say GW is the true exception to the rule, it did turn out well, minus the horrible nerfs i keep hearing of lol.
