Stop dissing the WOMO!

ok im here to say that people dont alwase have to diss the womo yes i know there are some very noob warriors because of the fact that it is an easy started profession however why do you all just automaticly asume that a womo is going to rush in agro the whole group and get you all killed? because i myself play a womo on my warrior and i happen to do a very nice job of it :) the only thing im trying to egt at is give the womos a chance :) dont judge befor you see them fight

P.S. most of the time im the last one to die in my group i find the key to this is to not bring mending and not agro everyone in sight well thats all so dont diss the womo!

Where exactly did you pick up womo? It's definitely wammo. And my favorite character is my wammo, like every class, they are excellent when played right. But the fact is that a lot of people that play this game have absolutely no idea how to play a profession right, most especially warrior. And actually, I think a warriors job is to aggro everything in sight, and make sure that they hold that aggro. This can be difficult, because things like AoE attacks break aggro, but it makes everything you could do in guildwars a lot easier if everyone is attacking a single warrior.

ty! someone aggreas also i forgot to add this my best friend and i also play womos in pve and were not nubs at all! we have both beaten all champagns on at least two accs and right when youre about to say o so what? they can pve complete pvp nubs well think twice because I myself am a rank 6 (wolf emote) and my best friend within 500 fame of rank 9! woot

ah yes well the exact build i use usualy consists of tripple chop or eviscarate executeners chop furious blow maby bonits hb vig spirit sometimes a hard res like rebirth and soetimes mending touch and there you go you have a pretty good warrior build :)

I know i maybe bashed wammo's in another topic but the fact is that i use one myself and i love it. I just don't use the ''traditional'' wammo with mending and this stuff. Used well w/mo can have quite good combos. (mending touch ftw!!!)
didn't wanted to hurt anyone. Just described some really bad warriors i saw in my GW life

I never discriminate until I see the build. Unless there's a fatal flaw, it's fine.

And why do you bother bringing up pvp rank or pve successes? Plenty of idiots can get those same successes. It's something to be personally proud of, but it means nothing when we're determining your skill.

The only reason I don't like Mending is because it does nothing against the huge spikes in Factions or Nightfall. 3 regen is just a waste of a skill-slot when enemies can cause burning and deal 60+ damage to 100 AL warriors.

Personally, pure warrior works well enough. High damage output + 2 good monks behind you = owning enemies.

Hard rez is always nice in PvE and im fine with wammos in GvG(sometimes) but i really just dislike wammos in Ta or Ra dont know why just for the case they usally just happen to be sub-par. Im not saying wammos cant do TA/RA just i really dont prefer them.

All wammos suck thats a fact that is 100% made up but its the ones that use echo mending or fenzy healsig is the ones you should watch out for and maybe the ones that say they can be MM too ;)

Since the implementation of Hard Mode, Wammo's couldn't be more useful in Normal PvE due to the AI nerf.

What I like to consider when judging Wammo's what they did, compared to what the team did. In all honesty, unless they are a complete retard, it is quite difficult to aggro two groups at once, in most cases, its an errant Minion or fleeing teammate who does that job. The aggro in Guild Wars is also very basic, once you get a hold of it, with the right build you can tank anything, with nearly any class. For the most part, if a warrior "aggro'd" everything, the monk should be able to focus heal on them, and for the most part keep hem alive, if not, well, the team didn't have much of a chance in the first place.

For the most part it takes experience, and, as far as prejudice goes, thats just how it works. ou can't really change the hate on Wammo's because so many noobs do play them. You can only hope, that once you get to a certain point in the game, you won't see them as often, if at all. But, perhaps that is wishful thinking on my behalf.

the comment above mine reminds me of a time i got a w/e in my group for dunes of despair. he pings build - he has meteor shower in his build. whatever i think, its just Dunes of Despair. outside, "oh crud, i dont even have 25 energy lol!". people that unaware of the game are the people who earn warriors, especially a w/mo less respect by other players.

and personally, i prefer Obsid. Flesh ele tankers over warriors, but thats just me. lol

i play wammo all the time, mending, healing breeze everything. all honesty; this is the only build that always seem to work for me on pve. the "survive-ability" of wammo's can be much better than must ppl think.

Well, I am from Missouri (though that doesn't have much to do with what I'm about to say), and in my opinion, that statement is a flame. Lots of people have bad grammar, and it has absolutely nothing to do with gaming skill. Your post was completely worthless and didn't add anything to the thread.

Anyway, I have to agree with Cswella on the actual topic as well, though my warrior is a wammo technically, I basically run a pure warrior build all the time, with a mix of tanking skills and damage skills. Dragon slash with a few other attacks, flail, and enraging charge results in a pretty huge damage output, and dolyak signet is about as much tanking as you need. Lion's Might or healing signet for healing and a res (usually sunspear rebirth signet for me, since I'm r10 in the SS title) and you've got yourself a first class build.

Everyone makes a grammar mistake every now and then. especially albino monktress (sorry about that albino).
You shouldnt bother as long as you now what the writer means.

And concerning the wammo's.

THE BUILD AND THE PLAYERS SKILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

You can't say it's not true, even with a good build in the hands of an inexperienced player is worthless.

If you don't want the wammo to aggro everything, make sure you tell him before entering the map you are about to play.

This is all I have to say. (Yes, I am a wammo freak)

i have nothing against wammo's but if i see someone calling him a womo im gonna laugh o hard, a womo. just say it 10 times hard and it sounds so damn strange XD a wammo comes from wa/mo its ok. but a womo XD sorry :P

i dislike wammos and clasify them as beginners, why? because they can't come up with anything better than the most used, first, boring build in the game?!?! and most often they DO rush in aggro, die..or carry very stupid skills, orut a build in where there is no energy management, or not enough dmg skills or w/e...most often iut see wammos with do9lyak sig, glads defense,etc...and they can't do anything...
the OLNY case in which wammos are good are the mending touch gankers in gvg. not calling every wammo noob but just "newbie", for hudnreds of reasons.. but i play very little pve anyways, and everytime theres a wammo he is dumb. especially if he doesn't talk to help team. gg
