so, i was wandering around some sites, till i saw a topic, there was a kid asking fro a free factions demo key,
So what do yout think? is it possbile or not to get one?
If u thin you can't ur WRONG
Cause i found German site, where u need to fill in ur e-mail adress and then they send u a 10hour free factions trial key
Yup it works and its great

Mind sharing site rofl.....but i was wondering cas i havnt got factions or nightfall, just profe. If i get a skill form either nf or fations it still lets me use it in profe right?
from a demo or buddy key wat eva..?

good question actually >.> i dont think it does since skills are linked to owning the chapters you have. Its something that is in the core of the chapter unlike weapons and such.
On the other hand; you do have it unlocked on your account when you cap it. Maybe someone can verify?

i would assume that it would show on your account, but would be "locked" as soon as your trial key expired?

i have seen on guildwiki it says some bosses in core areas have proph only skills and if u do not have proph and cap the skill it will be locked until u get proph. so i think u will not have the skill after the trial.

Yeah, you should be able to use all factions skills just fine while the trial is ongoing, but when it ends, they will be locked until you add a real factions key.

i bought nightfall 15k armor in my 10 hour trial and still got it, so yes, it's possible

I've used a Prophecies trial key on my account that didn't have Prophecies and managed to unlock a couple skills (Meteor Shower, Spiteful Spirit, Essence Bond, etc)...
I logged out in LA and after the end of the trial period, those skills were still unlocked on my account and my character was placed in the Monastery Overlook area going through the Factions intro cinematic and the Tutorial Quest... Items and skills were left intact. The little progress made towards the exploration and protector title track for Tyria remained as well.
After that time, I went ahead and bought Prophecies and continued playing normally. So from personal experience, skills unlocked while using a trial key will still remain unlocked on your account.

Or it will tell him he can't use his prophicies character that has a factions skill once the trial expires on it, until he buys factions. lol.
