For those puzzle fans out there, check this monster out. According to the mfg no one has completed it yet: Worlds Largest Puzzle
I'd have to dedicate an entire bedroom of my house to put the darn thing together. If it wasn't close to $300 I'd be buying it right now. A buddy of mine just did.
And I've seen difficult puzzles before. The Purple thing that was purple on both sides, the leprechan one. There are actually several really hard ones out there with repedative patterns printed on both sides.
This one just seems big, but it doesn't say printed on both sides, so it definately looks do-able to me!

Ummm...wow. That thing's frikking rediculous. Did you catch the measurements on that thing?
"Approximately 168.5 inches x 61.8 inches)..." and 24,000 pieces?!?!
That's about 14 ft x 5 ft.!
My question is, where would you build such a monster of a puzzle? I hope whoever buys that thing has a big room with lots free space.
Sweet sig made by hat-of-doom (top) and Death Fetish (bottom)!

The guy that showed me has already purchased it. He's going to separate it and build it in sections. He's actually trying to get the local Home Depot to make him an eisel for it and get the manufacturer to sponsor him. He would do final constuction at some sort of event.
The only thing stopping me is the $300 price tag. I already have a spare bedroom that I could just clear and use the floor. But I also have a pretty big extension table I could use if I put the leaves in the middle.
If you look at it, realy there is just 6-8 different puzzles all on the same mat. If you broke it down by similar piece groupings it would be easier than it looks, but still pretty damn time consuming.
I always get dissapointed with puzzles because about 2/3 the way through I can just pick up a piece and place it(Comes in handy being a little color blind). This thing would take me a looooooong time to finish.
