how do you use a mould? I have a armorer and the moulds do not have a red line around them so they should be usable. But nothing seems to work. Do I need a recipe for them first?
Also have a cook. Think it is the only one without a source tracker. If she bought a campfire could she use it? Her trail food requries a campfire.

Are you a metalsmith?
Moulds are used as a consumable ingredient by metalsmiths to create weapons and tools. So you would have to be a metalsmith to use it. IF you are a smith then A: Make sure your skill is high enough to use said mould (Bronze, steel, etc) B: go into you trade skill frame and make sure you have the mats to use it a C: Make sure you are at an anvil/forge or whatever you need to be at to use it in the first place.
Example: Low-grade Steel Blade Mould is used to create Tools. So to create Woodworking tools from Iron you would need Novice level Metalsmithing, the knowledge to make Iron Woodwoorking Tools, an Iron Band, 4 low grade Steel Ingots, 1 short ash shaft, 1 lowgrade steel blade mould, and 1 blackened huorn root.
So you must not have a recipe to use the item in yet. Or you need to be a metalsmith.
