Sadly, Lord of the Rings doesn't have an emote so us adventurers can boo and heckle bad minstral players. Theres also a big lack of emotes for us to cheer on a good horn or lute player.
Id rather listen to a impromptu rendition of Super Mario or Alex-F than a jumbled mass of badly played notes.
Because of this, could people that figure out a good tune to play on the lute or horn post it here. Im mildly useless with music, but id like to be able to play some nice tunes when im waiting for my fellowship member to find his...shire with both hands.
(Don't post it in C-C-D-D-A# style, thats useless for someone who doesnt know what the C note is, post it using the numbers that we have to play, like 1-2-1-1-5-6)

Hear, hear...haha I cant tell you how many times I run by the Prancing Pony screaming in agony. Here is a tip go way out into Northern Bree Lands or maybe Weather Hills and practice alone.....thats what I do. I have yet to get even remotely good but the chances of putting someone else through the agony is far diminished.
And yeah I want to see some songs.....that would be great. If we get enough maybe we can make a Game Info section for it.

I never even thought to check out the site....I am so going to go on play Master of Puppets or Fade to Black. Simply genius, simply freaking genius. This is one part of the game that I have yet played w/ tremendously but the possibilities of taking real songs onto game is awesome.
Can anyone tell me if you can set up a macro that once hit would play all the keys in order? Is that even possible? I believe in CoH you could set up macros to run your powers in a certain order...if I remember right.

Ok so last night I tried out some of the songs listed on forums and played them. Then I was found a few others songs to try and played them.
Some sounded way better than others, and some I could play way better than others. I have very hard time when it comes to using the Control + # or Shift + # to keep the music in form. The best song I could do.....Flinstones theme song.....I laughed pretty hard when I was able to play it. But I was able to find Metallica, Rolling Stones, Weezer, Green Day, Beethoven, LOTRO Movie songs, and lot more.
If I can convince the Devs to give a us a new section...Music Notes and then members could submit Songs to be listed. Also I want to see if I can figure out the note correlation to keys...like 1 is C, 2 is D...or w/e. Im not really sure, its just taking time to figure it out. If anyone wants to help in anyways please let me know.

Reminds me of the old BBS days and trying to play ansi music. So everybody fire up your old terminal programs and hit that control G to your hearts content. Ok will scurry back into my cave. :P
