Hey boys and girls, haven't been around for quite a while (must admit I quitted playing GW) but thought I could help spreading this around. Feel free to use the sig.

k im a massive pessimist so try to ignore the following
you have no idea how irritating this is, all these people are going on about it like its never happened before, but this time two doctors who are stupid enough to leave a child alone in a hotel room with a french window open get more press coverage than the millions of people dying in third world countries, i also doubt that people putting a picture of her in their sig will make her turn up any faster, its the parents fault, noone elses, the parents (and the sicko who took her)
despite all this i hope she is found safely but as i said before im a pessimist so...

I kinda agree with sirus. Tragic as it is.. it's irritating.
why is this girl special then the other thousands of children kidnapped? Why don't we have pictures of children/adults who have been kidnapped?
It's tragic yes.. I feel sorry for her and hope she is found but bleh..

I heard on the news this morning about how they arrested some bloke who was getting too involved in the investigations or something..It will probably turn out to be him..
But I also agree it is silly to leave your child alone in an open hotel room. Slightly irresponsible.
And now, so I dont look like a swine: greatest sympathies etc.
Hopefully it will all turn out well..

Statistics show that most cases like this that aren't solved within the first week, either never are, or end up with them finding a body... however, in some cases they find them safe, if not extremely traumatized. Case in point, Elizabeth Smart.
So even though I wouldn't hold my breath to find her alright, I will say that I hope they do find her alive.
Good Luck to everyone involved, except the ass who took her.

Please, don't take this as a flame post but....
A person from another forum I'm in requested to spread the letter, the picture and the signature, so I didn't think it will do any harm. Parents' might have been dumb, but a kidnapped daughter is still an exagherated price to pay for it. In any case, the family desperation seemed reason enough for me to spreading it.
I'm not british, I'm spanish, so I don't really know the press coverage this kidnap has in the UK and I think the letter is addressed to ANYONE (not just brits) who can help... though considering that I've lived there, I should have known better (I mean about press spam-coverage)... but yes, I agree: There are loads of kidnappings all over the world, mostly in under-developed countries, that don't get the attention that a single british kid could get. Nevertheless, and I don't mean to be cruel but realistic, I think it would be easier for you to help locating a british kid in Europe than a brasilian homeless kid in Rio, even more when the family provides you with the details.
It's not as if they are asking us to do something extraordinary, they are just saying "please, heads up! If you see this kid, report it. We are worried".
And lastly, whenever you think you can make a post asking for practical help for any other incident, feel free to post it: It won't be me who just posts to say that there are worse incidents in the world (because that's not the point).
