| Energy melee/ Electric armor ? |

ok I've heard that EM/Electric is a good build. I was thinking of making one but I didn't want to waste my time with it in case the rumors weren't true. Give me your opinions on this type of build please!

Well i have a level 50 EM/Elec brute, and he's a tank for the most part, but like every build, he has his pros and cons, it also depends if you pvp, or just pve, but the build is good in both.

lawl i have seen nova's build lol anyway yeah i have a lvl 20ish nrg/ele and my love my lvl 50 ele ele brute ele primary is amazing in pve but pvp nrg is the best but ele armor is prolly the strongest brute armor set you can get

Ok well in that case 3 questions:
1.)from the EM pwr set is stun worth getting?
2.)What armors are absolutely necessary in the electric armor power set?
3.)can anyone give me a good EM/Elec brute build?
EV3- lvl 50 Elec/Elec Blaster
Dr. Mafesto- lvl 50 Robo/Poison Mastermind
Syndroid- lvl 50 Energy/Elec Brute
and...lots of alts woohoo!!

/Elec is actually that weakest secondary.
Stone comes in a first
Invuln at Second.
Then comes Energy
Next is Fire
Second to last is Dark
And finally Electric

Electric is good for sapping end. but if you want PvE than try stone or invuln. and BTW Fire is good if you are a little bit more experienced

In my opinion stun isnt worth taking, because all yuor powers in the set basically stun, so no need to waste a slot unless you really want stun or need it.
I'd reccommend taking all the armors, because they are your key to staying alive, i wouldnt say no to any of them.

lol ele is great in either pvp or pve its not dead last ill tell you that much invul is extremly end heavy and has a self heal fire you can hold a fire burte and kill them extremly fast dark...ha funny stone sucks yes you can take a lot of damage but your damage out put is next to none because of that crappy -dam nrg armor.....def set pvp and pve if they are a few lvl's higher then you you are butter def sets sucks in villains now if they make an ice armor brute then hell yeah you wouldnt have any problems ele in my books is first only downside is no self heal big deal aid self comes back quick and barly gets inrupted if slotted right... ELE armor never run out of end and have a lot of res to energy and smashing & lethal specially if you get tough which most ele brutes get.

Stone Armor is horrible in my opinion, invuln is pretty bad, it offers very low resistance and okay defense, dark armor is good, it offers high resist to both toxic and psi, so i wouldnt laugh at it tricky, cause its the best set next to electric, fire is ONLY good for that self heal that yuo get back in 5 seconds if that, energy aura is ONLY useful if you get Dark melee, since the primary attacks back up your defense powers, but that build is a end drainer, and elec, well thats the best set in my book, so what if it doesnt offer a heal, like tricky said as long as you slot aid self right you shouldnt have problems, it has capped nrg resist, and psi resist, the only downfall to the set is toxic damage.

i never said that /ele is the worst secondary, just that it is the weakes due to low armor and no self heal.
Stone is good, i've seen a energy/stone brute clear a whole room of +4s after a team wipe.
Fire is good too, you just need to pick the right powerpools to be effective. and actually if you get acrobatics /fire brutes have higher mag resists than others.
two SG mates both have 50 brutes based on PvP. one is SS/Invlun and the other is Energy/Elec. Guess who won? The SS won because he could self heal after unstoppable wore off. the energy just got PWNed as he ran out of energy and health
