There is a new opportunity available here at the WoW Gameamp Site! We are in need a new staffer for forum moderation. The job entails answering posts, deleting goldspam, banning IPs of gold spammers and notifying me of them. There are other opportunities available on the network including content editor, map editors and general administration. If you want to be part of one of the fastest growing gaming sites please apply. They are currently volunteer positions but who knows what the future may bring!
It is also good experience to put on a resume, it will show good written communication and self motivation.
Qualifications are listed below.
MUST:
have access to Microsoft Word, office suite prefered.
have a basic understanding of HTML
intend to be on staff for no less than 4 months
do not mind helping with data entry and complettion of assigned tasks
OPTIONAL:
have access to Adobe Photoshop
have access to Paint Shop Pro
comfortable with resizing images
have previously worked on a fan site administration team
over 22 years of age
devote more than 1 hour a day to administrative duties
updated my GameAmp profile prior to applying for staff
Fill out an application under the Becoming Staff link, We will be accepting applications to fill this position and other positions on the network as soon as possible.
The administration will be reviewing applications as they come in and filling positions so the earlier the better!
Anyways this is a great opportunity for those trying to get out there and start out. Also people have to keep in mind that business work the best when you put yourself out there and the more people you know more opportunities and possibilities show up ^^

And about the age limit. I joined staff here on gameamp when I was 16. So dont worry about it. Aslong as you (and especially we ;P) think you can be mature enough in your position as a staffer.

There will not be a minimum age requirement. But I will say this. The Devs, Grif and I will be choosing someone that we agree and think is mature, handles themselves well on the forums and I think can handle tasks when they are given. This person has to be able to take directions easily when given, take initiative to do things on their own and complete tasks on time and completely or we will take the administration powers and rights away as fast as they are given.
The biggest thing I need is people showing effort as admins and as regular posters, trying to make GameAmp grow, trying to make an effort to make this a large but fun community in general and on the WoW site. Remember the more active the community is the more stuff we can bring you guys! Thats even more incentive to recruit your gaming friends to use the site as well, the more members and more active the members are the better it looks to our sponsors and the more sponsors = the more money to bring you contests, prizes and cool stuff like that.
Those things are important. Getting back to the original question if you communicate well and in a mature manner then age is not an issue. I have been 13 year olds be more mature than 30 year olds, I think you guys have seen the same on these forums at times. So show yourself off everytime you post, get your friends on here and always have fun!
