Okay, GuildWiki says that you only need to have a shout on you either when you cast Soldier's Fury or while you have it on, and it will stay active even if the shout/chant ends.
This is not true.
I just went through Mines of Moladune with Soldier's Fury. I used Anthem of Flame and Go For The Eyes to keep it up. When the shouts or chants ended, so did Soldier's Fury.
Do we need to correct that Wiki entry, or is this a glitch?

Yes, but I want to confirm that this is not a glitch.
Since it's been reported from several sources that Soldier's does NOT end if the shout/chant ends, I have to believe that over my single trial of usage.

I just checked for you, and it definitely didn't end for me. The skill deion is accurate, it remains on you for however long it's supposed to, though you don't necessarily attack 33% faster the whole time. When my shouts/chants ended, I started attacking at normal speed again, and when I reapplied a shout, I started attacking faster again. So what guildwiki means is that the skill doesn't end, though you do stop attacking faster.

I agree, though I cant check it right now, to me, I read it sort of like signet of stamina, but with a time limit. Basically, it only ends when the time limit is up (as opposed to signet of stamina ending only if you hit something), but it doesn't do anything for you unless you are under the effects of a shout or enchantment.

That's what I meant.
I guess I read the skill to mean it would still work even if a shout ended. Just had to have a shout or chant on when you cast it.
In that case, Soldier's Fury sucks even more. Frenzy FTW!

frenzy has been, is, and will most likely alwyas be the best attack speedboost AS LONG AS you have a cancel ;p

/disagree, I like Flail better, especially if you bring Crippling Slash along with it.....crippled with a cover condition.
Also, Soldier's Fury isn't bad if you know you will have a shout or chant on you.....you can keep it up even with 0 points in leadership, which means it can be used on any class, and though it can be interrupted, its got a 5 sec recharge. Lets just say it has its uses, but for most cases, Frenzy with a cancel stance can be more effective. Oddly enough, I never liked frenzy because the double damage....granted I don't do PvP, I find in PvE, if your taking double damage, its often too much, no matter what class you are.

Yeah, I much prefer flail, but I don't PvP much, and PvE monsters don't kite all that much.
