| Hello I have a question about NF |
|

|
Hello my name is mike and i was wondering what is the easyest class to play in for nightfall i have all 3 games but im new to guild wars and i wanted to play NF because its the newest one and everyone says its the best so if anyone has any suggestions on what NF class i should pick then please tell me your opinion and why thanks.

Long Answer:
The simplist profesion would be the elementalist with its short learning curve. If you don't like spell caster Warriors and Dervishes are your best choices. Paragons to most aren't as fun and are harder to play. Mesmers and Assassins are known for being VERY complicated to use. Monks I would avoid until you develop some skill. Necromancers are slightly harder to play than elementalist but have huge potential if you can master them. Ritualists are like elementalists but they have more potential (Can do more than just offence in the primary attributes).

Really it depends on your style of play because both classes or suited to two types of game play and are both really good in their respective ways. If you're an up-close melee person (eg: enjoy playing warr/assassin)then you want to go dervish. If you prefer to be distanced or play support (eg: caster class/ranger) than you want to go Paragon. Usually people fall into these two categories or they are a blend of both. Personally i love playing dervish. It's a fun class to play around with, but so is paragon or so I'm told by my friends.

I always say to start off with a warrior. It's the simplest class in my opinion to use, but it can also be very effective when learned.

If you're just starting. Play a couple different professions. Find out what you like best.
I started with a w/r, because it seemed simple enough. I later found out I like monks/necros better. Not a probelm, still play the warrior from time to time.

I love eles..and NF is quite a good place to start an ele - It has Searing Flames - awesome fire skill..
However, the best place to start GW is probably Prophecies, with the longest tutorial are (pre-)

Well, you're half-right....most players would say Prophesies is the best, as it has the most solid storyline, best learning curve, and it gives you skills for completing quests. It's also the original one and will always have that special something that the sequels will never have. NF, however, does give you heroes. These are very handy for new players and so in that respect there is nothing wrong with starting with NF.

Then ge to LA in proph, then go to NF to pick up heroes then continue through prophecies....

IMO DO NOT START WITH NIGHTFALL! as it has the most complicated, i think, gameplay. true that more people play it, it does not have the feel that the first game gave the player. so i would start with prophecies, and work my way up. and also, go for the elementalists, they are very helpful, but dont use firestorm.,.. breaks aggro.

If you ask me, what you should do is, if playing elementalist, go Capture SF in Nf...
That way, you can use the Searing Flames build on both eles, and Yourself- massive area damage from burning and DD....
Monk heroes are also useful if you have enough skills...if you go E/mo then you'll get a fair few useful ones....

Oddly enough, warrior is my favorite and my main character.(almost half of my account time is on my warrior, and I have 1 char of ever class, except I dont have factions)
Anyway, I say for ease, start with a warrior, their high armor makes you take the lowest damage without having to use a specific build. They can also dish out some decent damage.
Ele's are good, but I dont think they are that easy to start with.

thanks for all the help i made a ele because alot of ppl said they were easy to play dose good damage and thats what i scored on that test that i took i made it nightfall because of the heros my char name is mike dultra if u wanna help me im in the game right now im in chebek village.
