spitful minion master 

hey guys i got this crazy idea of having a spitful spirit minion master and i was wondering if it would work. if your in a group with a monk or 2 you dont really need any healing spells that a monk second pro. could offer so u could distribute the healing attributes into curse attributes and have ss as your elite. sure u wont have flesh golem but with 10 bone fiends and spitful spirit u would do significan amount of damage. and u could also have mesmer as your second pro and arcane echo ss for extra damage. so does anyone think this would work?

Back when I use to 3-man the Queen in the desert, that is what I ran...Aracne Echo, SS, Bone Min, Bone Hor, Vereta's, Rend Enchant, couple others...then again, that was when there was no limit on minions

But it did work wonders...3 manned it instead of 4, I guess that's kinda saying something

ok cool cause the idea just poped into my head "hey i wonder if i can combine a ss necro and a mm necro hmmm" so i think my goal is to cap ss and play around with it to see how it works.

The problem with that as in a lot of things is Energy.

youll have what 9 curses so thats not much damage with ss either.

Its kind of like saying why dont i have a monk that can fire meteor showers.

Actually I have used a similiar build before, it works nicely. The big downfall is it is hard to keep your minions up between battles.

With SS costing only 10 energy to cast now the energy requirements are even less, but as thornblade brings up you will still have some issues here and there depending on how often things are dying. IMO though echoing SS will be too much of an energy demand and therefore take away from your primary purpose as a MM.

Another idea is to use Barbs, this is great of bosses or spiking healers.

Losing flesh golem isnt all that bad, they have their +/- but overall I think they are overrated (especially im HM).

As long as you are calculated about when and what you cast SS on it is a pretty good elite to pack in an MM build for most areas.

The reason I was able to do it is because it was before the minion nerf...and the soul reaping nerf. Right? you can't get as much energy as before. I didn't echo SS all the time, just when I got to a group with healers and stuff. I echoed some of my other skills once in awhile.

With the attributes, I think I had both sup death and curse on, maybe even soul reap, cant remember...but that made all the attributes high enough to keep the build running smoothly. I always use to play it risky in PvE. Energy shouldn't be a problem if you have all that and things keep dying.

Actually, that's absolutely nothing like this. It's more like saying why don't I have a healing monk that can cast prot spirit. Or to give a closer comparison, a 10 energy elite in protection prayers, which is 100% viable.
