ok how do u solo farm the imp cave its like impossible. im a w/r and i nee to know what i need plz so help. thnk u

As kanna said, we need specifics.. I mean, after all, we arent mind-readers, are we? To be honest though, ive never even tried to farm an IDS ( I think thats whats hes taking about. ) Just because there a bit hard.. I prefer to go Dead sword farming! or ssakais ^.^

if you talk about the IDS farm build than here they are.
W/mo Regenaration
W/Me Raging
If your talking about the Ice Tooth Cave you can farm anvil rock on HM with the W/RT UW solo build.

don't blue items scale now? Just saying cause the chance of getting one would be 1/8 of what it used to be. Anyway, the builds posted above should work.

Id reccmoend using Elemental resitance with defy pain, watch yourself and dolyak signet.
Dont use W/Mo unless its purely permenent enchantments as maelstrom will deck you.
Alternative build ( making this up as i go along ).
Take a longbow put points in marksmanship, take some skill to increase the damage, then keep out of the ice imps
Spellcasting Range, this will mean they will only hit you with ranged projectiles.
Like you said it might be affected by party size, simple answer for you take 7 henchmen and flag them near the start of your run.
O yes forgot to mention the biggest danger to you is avicara too close to the mouth of the cave so you cant get to safety before u reach the imps.
The second biggest danger is siege ice golems, they use Rust which is a major pain, kill them first and stay out of imp range.

I'm pretty sure that won't work. I remember seeing Gaile say in a thread over on Guru after loot scaling came out that flagging no longer works. Another thread here seems to back that up.
Unlocked chests ( kilroy quest ) nerfed?
I think the henchies get their share of loot no matter where you put 'em now.

Problem with that is the ice imps use ice spikes (think that is what it is called) which has half the normal casting range. This will pull them all inside you aggro circle making you dead really fast :). Good idea though

Farming IDS is very, very hard and it takes a long time to getb right. There is I think a quite a good guide in the guides section. I'd love to farm imps but i always die cos of non-imps and the rez point is miles away. If you just want to farm them for and IDS for yourself, I would'nt both and just farm something easier like griffs ect. then buy one off somebody. If you are tyring to farm lots of them to sell, as I said above the guide in the guides section is pretty good and you can alter it to your needs. Good Luck.

Well probably you will need another second profession.
Ascend your character (if it isnt already), then go to Great Temple of Balthazar and buy another second profession. ^.^

definitely need another profession, assuming you are a tyrian warrior, and already ascended (which is the only legit way to be in mineral springs anyway)
read the builds, go to the appropriate ghost in the desert towns and change your secondary, get the right skills, prepare to be frustrated, give up, buy one or do without.
not that i am a pessimist (well, i am really) but...
A) if you have to ask, you arent too familiar with some intricate farming
B) it's a tough farm
C) they dont drop all that frequently
D) that farming run in general sux, imho, very long and tricky each run

Ice imps do have ice spear which is half range, but they wont come into range to use it , i don't know why but they dont' : thats what allows the 55hp SoJ to work.
And the flagging thing, the killroy thread isnt a good example as everybody was confusing each other,
and I do flagging time and time again and have done it several times this week,
and ive done it just to check with henches in range : no drops in range.
A good example for you is sorrows furnace, if Drago is wielding his dragos flatbow , he will always drop it for you with henchmen flagged away, but 1/8 chance when they are in range.
