I need some help: I'm playing a 2 week trial whilst I wait for my copy of CoH to arrive in the mail. I was playing Coh yesterday and when I try to log in today, it said the password or username isn't correct. I checked my NCsoft account to see if my username was correct, it was, and then I changed my password to be double sure. But still, I cant log in, my fire wall is down and I cant see anything else that would be amiss.
If anyone could help or insight it would be greatly appreciated. :/

The user name and password are case sensitive. Start simple, caps lock on?

Just a shot in the dark, but, do you recall whether your Cap Lock was on or not? That could play a part in your dilemma.

And Welcome to the site. Hope you enjoy the game. Your lucky to find this site so soon. I played for 6 months before I did. It is CHOCK full of CoH goodness.

Thanks guy, but no, I know that the u/n and p/w are case sensitive, and I double checked that aswell. :'(

Oh yeah...... Welcome to the site!
Well, at this stage in the boot up sequence there isn't a lot of possible failure scenarios. Considering that you get the user name and login screen, you should be past any firewall issues.
I have a couple of standard user name and login combos I use. Every once in a while, with all of the stuff I log into, I get the wrong combination and get myself into this same issue.
Did you have the "Remember login" button clicked when you started, or are you typing in both user name and password during the attempt?
If you are entering both, are you using the right combo for this game/feature on your PC?
Considering that you are on one of the trial copies, have you run out of time(already suggested). The timer will start when you set it up, and still keep rolling even if you do not play. It's not going by the ammount of play time, but actual real time.
I really can't think of anything else that should block you here. Other than simple things like I do, as in spelling my passwords wrong. My big, clublike fingers tend to hit 2-3 bottons at once sometimes(They are like little drunken sailors). But I figure you have tried to log in a couple times by now. I don't usually space on the PW more than once.
If none of that works, I guess you could just hang out at the mail box and mug the mail man as soon as he gets there with your official copy.

I have remember me on, I have changed and typed in my password again and again but nothing! Right, well I guess its time to wait for the postman *picks up a baseball bat*

Welcome to the site.
Y'know...It never hurts to get in touch with support. It might take them a little bit to get back to you (I think they're averaging less than 24 hours), but it's better than waiting two weeks. I've always been pretty happy with NCSoft's support group.

My login username and password for NCSoft and the actual game are different. I am not sure if anyone else has this issue but you might think back to what you used and it might be different then you NCSoft login on their website.

Very true, you might be resetting your NCSoft access. Caus consdering you said:

If you were entering it right in the game, how did you reset it in NCSoft. Pretty sure it asks for you original password first. (Could be wrong).
