So it really is amazing how quickly time passes. I remember going to see Star Wars when it first came out; my brother had just gotten his drivers license and I was going on my first car trip with him to see what I thought at a the time would be an Ok movie but turned out to be one of my all time favorites. Now I really find it hard to imagine that it is coming up on 30 years since it's release. I know the History Channel is having a special related to this event and G4 (formerly TechTV) is also having events most of this fridary to celebrate this event and also have some announcements related to the future of the franchise.
Well, having said all that do any of you plan to do anything special to mark this occasion? Sure, jump in share your Star Wars memmories.

aww boo no lego darth vader....
but I did watch the discovery channels star wars tech that was pretty cool...though star trek tech was better...and how star trek changed the world...but Star Wars was awesome too! :-)
The third one came out like the year I was born :-P lmao
