i have tried out a few trapping builds in HM with no succes,
is it even possible to solo trap in HM?

If you find an easy target then yes. I don't think it is easy but maybe try in Nolani acadamy. all the char that rush in. I can come over to try it on a duo run

I tryed charr at nolani myself, they survive the traps long enough to kill you, and the ranged ones are the ones to be wary of.

I solo-trapped HM when I first came back to GW to see if it was viable. Ofcourse, I use my solo UW trap build (3 dust trap build) and when fighting certain things, I might have even taken distract shot.
Solo trap still works...just got play around with it

the r/me build, and what do you farm?
also i was thinking trapping with mist form would that work?

give me a few minutes and i'll find out what i can do...i did the ettins and the troll cave, but other than that, dont know.
EDIT: You're right, Nolani is hard as hell...I need a way to keep them in one postion, I was only able to kill about 4-6 melee guys, and then surviving is another issue with the eles in there.
I think you can basically take any melee creatures, but no more than 5 or so...and if they have healsig, sometimes you can outdmg it, sometimes you may need to bring distract shot.

i could probably do it.
me and my freind trapped level 32 aatxes with about 18 dust traps, 4 barbed and they went own very easy.

try the stygian trapper build, that works pretty well if you can get the enemy to show up at the correct spot, usually or sometimes accomplished by leaving a spirt for them to agro to

i tried trapping nolani with heroes it worked but rurik rushes into them and dies. The surviving ones are though even with 3x dust trap
