| Got An Idea For Guild Wars? |

I thought of making this one for a while. Guru have their own forum dedicated to it, so I'm making a post for it here.
Have you got an idea that can improve GW? Feel like you have something special and want to contribute to the society? Something new you want to discuss? Well if you do have, then post it all here. I'll monitor every suggestion, and add it to the list (see below), to make things easier to keep track of. Keep in mind that once we have a idea posted, it isn't really necessary to post the same idea again. If you want to add a point to an already submitted idea, state that it is a "twist" of the old idea atleast. Just for starters, I'm going to add the ideas that most people have heard of before...
- Haircuts
- Auction House
- Testers Arena
- Adding notes to your friend list
- A stat menu that notes how many * stuff you've done/killed etc
- A title for completing all campaign quests
- A player info window (for others to watch)
- Reimplementation of skillquests
So, what are you waitning for? start posting your ideas here, so those in A-net that reads this site easily can sort over all the creative ideas you guys have ^___^

Well anet said there would be no Auction house in this GW, but might be in GW2.
I think anet stated that it was impossible for them to create an NPC Haircut, somewhere in the guru forum.
Testers arena is a nice idea but anet need to work on more important things such as GW:EN imo

Tbh I doubt we will get this stuff in GW, everything will be thrown into GW2. If we have what we want in GW they wont be making enough money from GW2.

Kinda simple one here, a stats menu, that notes everything, from how many monsters u killed, to how many miles you have traveled and so on.

Ill recapitulate some of the idea's from a convo Genesis Dragon, Silly Ranger and i had;
- A title for the amount of quest you've done.
- Reimplementation of skillquests (like prophecies?)
- A Player Info Window, basicly a window you bring up by clicking a player in an outpost or in an explorable area and clicking a button labeled \"Info\" right below the Trade button.
They could have the window contain information that the player who's info you're viewing can enable, examples being Exp, Titles(Multiple) and loads more, every option having a checkbox allowing you to select multiple options for your Player Window.

Yeah something like that, also, how much money you have spent, collected etc, how many golds u have received from drops. Loads of stuff, I was thinking of the stats menu in gta, something like that would be good for gws, give u a nice shock every now and again with what you have been up to ingame ;)

Hmm... Here's a few things to snack on:
Uno:A player house! Whenever I'm running around looking at the scenery of GW I think how Cool it'd be to have a house nesseled in the shiverpeaks sipping a cup of cocoa, or going out to the docks to fish after a hard day at work in the Ascalon settelment. Or perhaps you're a city person? why not setteldown in cantha in teh big city? Or maby you want to rough it in the forest? I mean who woulden't want a nice big house in Vabbi; the Beverly Hills of Guild Wars?
Dos:FACE MAPPING!!! I'm so tired of having to pick and choose from the same old faces and hair styles. Spice it up A-Net!
Tres:Body scaleing...doh! Raise you're hand if you like the way you're fat ol' warrior looks? thats what I thought. Maby A-net could add a body scaleing system like in the Tony Hawks game? Tony Hawk games are really the only games I've seen that sorta stuff.

Make the tournament rewards unlocked and acount based instead of for one pvp char that you will delete and remake all the time.
PvE Heroes being able to use pvp items.
All titles global.
More stuff to spend balth faction on even something small like ale would be better than sitting at uax.
some special pve emote similar to the hero emotes possibly for kind of a big deal title track.
More purpose to that town owning thing in factions and some way to tell how close you are to moving line on AB maps.
Be able to trade tournament tokens for 1000g or a reward point
Lead-offhand-dual combos not sucking ass.
hexes getting nerfed

You could always report your name for being offensive, usually results in a day ban and then a menu asking you to change your name. Heard if from another person, lol, never wondered why that name wasn't in use already ;)
I'd like the minor addition of ''shared quests'', what i mean is that when you help someone out with a quest, and you cant remember it, you could see his quest and know where to go (arrow on radar)
However ofcourse, you wont gain stuff from it, simply to navigate instead of going to wiki all the time when you forgot it? Sounds nice to me, Sub-Quests.

Ah nice, but instead of typing maybe a list of other major places, not just Kamadan, Lions Arch or Kaineng. Would be nice, for instance a place in the middle of Kamadan like Kodesh Bazaar (major City)

my only request since auction house is not going to be in gw is : a /favor emote. it is such a bummer having to travel all the way to the ToA of your continent when all you want is to see who has favor. i doubt it would be that hard to put in. since they dont need people to do the tournaments now why not have them work on this simple yet great addition?

That's a load BS, I'm sorry but ANet can do it, they know they can, it's just a matter of stopping looking at what the players want and implementing them step by step, but seriouslly, how hard is it to make a hairdresser? Create a NPC that would open up the apperance section of char creation and let you go from there. Bleh.

Change Materials to buy/sell your own amount in like buying stuff from merchant, instead of packs of 10, same with rare craftings (kinda annoying to buy one at a time, it would also help to balance out an actual price on the cost of the rare craftings your gonna buy
Oh yeah and be able to see what town and dist your friends or guildies are in as well as rosters for allied guilds.

That would be very nice seeing as I hate having to travel to some HUGE major city like kaineng and be super laggy you could go to a less populated town.

Its harder then you think though, i doubt they have a funny pre-build editor menu where they click on ''Add New Character'' button > ''Please Select Look'' > ''Please Select Purpose Of NPC'' > ''Select Location Of NPC'' > ''Implement NPC in Game''
It simply doesn't go like that, if it would, i'd be amazed by its simplicity, but they'd also have to test it, before we get people walking around with purple hair once they clicked on him for instance.
It's easy to say it like you do, but apparantly its not that easy, otherwise even you could've done it ;)

And my idea for a way round the map thing is when you open the map you have tabs saying "Tyrian Map", "Canthan Map" etc, so you can tab between them easily.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons...for you are crunchy, and good with ketchup.

On first one:
Sounds nice, maybe they could someday add a ''Alliance list'' like a guildlist though, and i dont mean in a town. So when you press G, then click the tab (just saying) ''Alliance List'' you see all names of all people active (not offline people, could be, not truly needed) in the alliance, would be very handy indeed. Or if you hold your mouse on an ally in the list a menu appears that shows how many people are in it (just like: ''Members: 24, Officers:5'') i like that idea, it would be a bit easier for everyone.
As for the map idea, thats a great one, the maps are probably the easiest things to load, so switching to another continental map would mean nothing in loading time, i agree with the idea ;)
