I have made a warrior. I have been using 2 handed mace for a while now. it works ok, but i want more. Would it be a good thing to go to sword and shield? or maybe one other one-handed weapon?

I would have to say that the Warrior is excellent with 2-Handed weapons and of course in his or her talents later on you can boost your Two-Handed Proficiency by some but will still make it effective. I have 2 warriors from 25-30 which isn't much but I have seen many warriors going with the 2-Handed Swords and there are many swords out there that kick ass. It's plainly up to you but overall I see that the Warrior is a 2-Handed class master ^_^ ~JLPizzLe

Biggest Benefit to having shord and shield is Shield Bash. That skill really messes up any casting class. I highly recommend keeping a 1h sword and shield instock for that exact purpose.

Actualy, if you wanna go PvP, 2h is the way... when fighting casters just switch to zerker stance and pummel them when they cast...
I only use my 1h/shield when im tanking stuff.

i currently have a lvl 40 warrior and i definately think that using a 2h sword rocks. i enjoy the whole sword and sheild thing also thats why i keep a 1h sword and a sheild in one of my bags. never know when your gonna need the extra protection. and it doesn't take up much room anyways

I'd recommend doing the old 31 / 20 spec. and if 2h swords are you cup of tea then that spec will do you good. Just make sure you get sword specialization for the chance for an extra swing.

I personally didn't like running a 2hander so I switched to Dualwielding and now roll two very fast 1 handed swords. Fury warriors are excellent for leveling, especially when on the grind. But I always recommend keeping a spare shield and if your using 2 handed weapons keep a 1 handed sword as well for tanking when you have no other choice.

It's all about your play style, if you like hard hitting slow 2hers then go with MS, if you like a more interesting spec then go with DW fury cause its a lot more fun from what I hear. I am atm MS sword 31 / 20 but im thinkin about respecin 20 / 31 for some DW action. Like I said its all about your play style.
MS can get boring after awhile but you do get some massive crits.
