Guys i found a cool program a while back and i figured i'd show you guys, it makes your taskbar transparent, its pretty cool and its 100% Free.

I only disagree with the statement about it being Grey, its Blue for me (XP User) :]
Looks nice for people with ''i want to see my wallpaper'', too bad mine doesn't show much its full of shortcuts and everything.

Umm... why dont you just go to "Taskbar and Start Menu" in the control panel and set your taskbar to autohide. That way it hides when you're not selecting it and you don't have to install some third party program.
Same outcome, safer source. The autohide feature has been on every windows app since Windows 95, and I've always used it.

Something simiar to that, but with more options is called windwosblinds. Made by stardock, you can totally customize your windows taskbar, log in screen, load screen, download screen, etc etc. But that is pretty sweet.

Heh, mine is Silver....silver > blue :P (and that fugly green that comes w/ XP too)
As for wallpapers, mines just pure black, so theres not much to see. :)

1. True, but transparent looks cooler.
2. "Safer Source" ~ The program isnt infected or has anything attached to it plus its from pcworld, they wouldn't accept anything like that if it were not safe.
