Feral Combat

Okay, gone back to me druid for a bit.

Have chosen to go down the feral path because I dont see much point to the "healing" druid just yet and ive tried the balance skills and i think ill leave spell damage to my mage :P

Now in terms of kit (not twink just general equipment) is it better for an agility+stamina mix or an agility+strength mix. I narrowed it down to these two as the more bonuses an item has the numbers get thinned eg +5 Agi +5 Str would turn into something like +3 Agi +3 Str +3 Sta

PS

Rogue Vs Cat Druid, winner is?

Hello,

You have to think like this, as a feral druid you have 2 roles:

1. Solo/quest/grind in cat form.
2. Tank in bear form when in a party for a dungeon group quest.

Agility, what does it to a druid?

Since druids can't use shields and can't parry and rely a lot on dodging especially when tankin, agility here goes a long way, since it's going to add armor, dodge, CRITS, and some small amount of AP (attack power, but that's only for druids, hunters and rogues)

Strength:

It adds the amount of damage your shield can take (remember druids can't wear shields), and it also adds AP giving you a more steady attack damage.

Stamina:

This one is really important for a Feral druid, especially when tankin since in dire bear form it increases your stamina by 25%, I usually have more hp and armor than a warrior (but I can't block or parry, so that's why agility is really really important).

Anyways now taking all those things into consideration, I usually go for agility, stamina, strength for DPS and for tanking stamina, agility (just about the same number as stamina, remember dodge!) and honestly not that strength is obselete to a druid but it doesn't do much as to a warrior, pally or shaman. Also the higher crit chance you have and the more crits you get the more threat you cause giving you a better aggro control.

And last but not least, as to rogue vs druid in cat form:

Usually the one who gets the first hit will win, as rogues can be trick but if you do it right and get the first hit (pounce) you will probably win, also you gotta learn on how to use the druid properly, when I go against a rogue I do:

Pounce -> mangle -> feral faerie -> shred -> hope oom procs -> maim (he should be at just a little above 1/2 life) -> bear form -> bash (5 secs stun ^^) -> back to cat form -> finish with shred -> if he's not done -> maim -> and shred again and he should be done in about 15 secs or a little more.

Also depending on your talents, and you invested in nature's grasp just use it in case you get into trouble, also you can always keep him rooted, but don't forget if he gets the first hit you are DONE! (Stupid human rogues!)

Anyways, that's enough if you need anything else let me know!

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of cure/abolish poison, which is a spell used to remove poison.
