Ok, so i put a loser topic into the forum - me idot. Hey-ho.
But now i review my actions and yes it is a problem - there are no good D/Mo builds - most are totally healing- I could really do with a build that does O.K damage, stays alive, can self-heal well, protect him/her self and- ok i'll stop but c'mon i have a point it is needed...
i have been exprimenting, but nothing is worthy of a mention - any good build for D/Mo would be very welcome...

i wudnt advice d/mo since monk dosnt rly have anything of use 2 the derv, try d/ele and use armor of earth along with mystic regen and another enchantment or 2 as a mystic buff. for attacks try reapers swing(i think, its elite) and victorius sweep. since your using armor of earth anyways then you have good points into earth so if needed try aftershock or the earth elite shochwave instead of reapers. use it for my war and love te spell.

This is a D/E
The Build i use for my Dervish:
1: Chilling Victory (Scythe Mastery)
2: Victorious Sweep (Scythe Mastery)
3: Avatar of Balthazaar (Mystism)
4: Vital Boon (Earth Prayers)
5: Mystic Regeneration (Earth Prayers)
6: "Optional" I use Ice Spikes
7: Frigid Armor (Water Magic)
8: Sunspear Rez
ATT:
Water Magic: 6
Scythe Mastery: 10+3
Earth Paryers: 11
Mystism: 8
I like this build, it works for me.

Cmon, give D/Mo a little more credit, you can easily set up The 130 hp Dervish.
See the build HERE
Or use Judge's Insight along with Smiting Prayers for increased damage.

ok this is what i usually do for my derv.....i use a ton of enchants and then just run into a group and pretty much dump them, so i have high myst and earth prayers, with scythe at like 9. with the dumping u can give everyone around u weakness, blindness, burning, bleeding and stuff like that. this works best if u r farming melee creatures like trolls

have you ever had anything positive to say about anything?
well, i guess your second line could be construed as positive, too bad it's attached to a previous ignorant reply

If your joking and being sarcastic I don't think it was very funny...
If not
Um what? What do you have to back that up? Really what the crap does cheap mean? Low energy costs? Easy to use? What?

Can't add to the discussion, but must agree with UC here... When you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything.
And for Wammo's ? A good one holds the line... Seen many many good ones in the time I've been playing. Again: when you cannot work a build yourself, that's your problem. There are no bad builds, just players who don't know how to use it...
Regards,
Michiel

Well to add to that warriors do many different things. Judging a warrior on how he will perform before you even know what he trying to do it just plain...dumb...I'm sorry but it is. "Oh he has a secondary monk he isn't good at anything..."

Strength of honor
Smite Hex
Judges insight
Heart of fury
Avatar of belthazar
mystic vigor
chilling victory
rez
10 smiting
12 mystic
14 sythe
You put up soh before the fight. Then when your just about to get into the trenches throw up judges insight Avatar heart of fury and mystic vigor. When you get a hex use smite hex and when you are attacking use chilling as often as your energy will allow.

Dervishes hardly need a secondary proffesion. Take a close look at the skills a dervish can have; and you will find out a secondary is not needed. I run a full D build without any skills from a secondary and i dont miss it:
- Faithfull intervention
- Heart of Fury
- Mystic vigor
- Mystic Regeneration
- Mystic Sweep
- Erimite's Attck
- Reapers Sweep/Vow of Silence
- rez
downside; enchant strips; counter; cast enchants again straight ahead; havent had any troubles in PvE with this build yet.
necromancer all the way
