Howdy,
Whimcycle finally hit the magic five-oh this past week and I've finally got to use the PB/WS arch-type. Wihch leads me to a few observations.
Whim's new PB on Triumph: Expense Report
1) Love being able to fly, miss my invisibility.
2) OKie, NOW I understand why Mutant and Natural get the low level Damage SO's.
3) Is it just me, or do they expect a lot more out of your average Kel? I've been on missions I'v had to do 4 or 5 different things to complete it.
4) They DEFINATELY expect us to work a lot harder. I run to nothing but three man teams of minion, usually with at least one leuie, three or four groups deep in places, and I am set to Heroic. Hate to think of what the next level is like.
5) I hate voids. Whim could wack a void down 1 or 2 shots. Exp. dumps everything he has into him and he still gets 2 or 3 shots off at me. Grrrrrr.
OKie, Back to the Kelvan mines.

Even in solo-Scanner missions, there's always at least one Quantum or Void that pops up in there.
As a hint, in the early levels, if you do Clockwork missions, you WILL get a void. If you do the "thug" type missions (Skulls, Hellions, Outcasts, Trolls) more than likely you'll get a Quantum in there. Quantums are a little easier to deal with than voids, because they don't have that inherant resistance to Kheldian energy.

Even then, a Quant will hand you your head after two shots or so if you cannot close fast enough to take them out.

Heh,
I'm learning that running away after getting a couple of shots on a void/quantum is a good tactic. Once they break off, you can come in behind and finish them off quickly.
The problem for me is, PB are more like blasters than controllers, which I prefer to play. I'm just better with controllers. I have an Electric/device blaster that is 27th after 3 years of play.
Well, going to keep Slugging the Squid and see what I can do with it.

Just dinged 30 with an all Human build Kheld. Keep in mind, that teams are a kheldian's best friend. You lose a lot if you solo.
