Fav skill with stories!

hey! decided to open this fun thread because I am bored! :D

heres the deal : post your favorite skill elite or non-elite, then add a deion why you like it so much AND a cool story what you've done with it! :D

i'll start off

favorite skill : psychic distraction: mesmer elite dom.

descripion : i just love to interupt! from rangers to mesmers, all the way, just any interupt <3

story : happened just a few mins ago, I was in RA playing with my 130 energy ele/mes with 1 skill ;)
fought vs this team that had 3 monks and 1 ele, mine was more balanced. we couldn't shut down the monks because we were simply not powerfull enough, more offensive than defensive.weellll, this ele, fire ele was trying to cast all his skills but I kept interupted EVERY SINGLE skill with my favorite elite! :D
omg believe me it was SOO much fun XD, glyph interupted, fire attune interupted, inmolation interupted, SF interupted, etc etc...he was so extremely pissed off he just went :

funniest mesmer ever -.-' f*cking noob and quit his team ,which made the last 3 monks totally dmgless xD

felt so cool to interupt everything and letting ele totally pissed off without being able to cast a single skill ;)

Favorite Skill-Moebius Strike, the sin Elite

De-scrip-tion{not deion lol)-It can recharge long combo's if timed right to pwn multiple enemies which I love

Story-I wanted to test out the BoA sin but since I hate using cookie cutters I decided to add my twist to it with moebius. I went into AB after I tested it on the dummies in balth temple and I soloed the monk shrine, took out an ele and got a warrior running all because after each enemy I recharge my combo of 5 skills which would take anyone down. So much fun to be able to use my combo over and over and over. I might write a guide on this build because I picked the skills so that I could fit in a moebius to recharge even on a 60 AL target like an ele.

Favorite Skill: Shattering Assault

Deion why: it can remove spells like prot spirit and gaurdian and deall well over 100 dmg PER HIT!!!

Story: I was in ra and the Frenzied defense monk was on the other side. i used shadowy burden and got in my black lotus strike. he used frenized defense =) double critical and killed him with 1 skill. 256 dmg x 2 GG!.

Can someone tell me if the word before "why:" is deion or deion lol. idk whats up its bugging

Target foe cannot use its elite skill

this skill has made my super happy fun time capping adventures easier I don't have to worry about getting owned with 1 skill or spiked as hard with an elite from bosses and surrounding potential corpses

Favorite Skill: Spirit bond
Des cription: Because it's a nice skill in both PvP and PvE, you can use it for farming in PvE, and for stopping spikes in PvP

Story: I was playing HB as monk, and the other team were playing the regular Assassin, r/p, mo/w build, and the assasin who was much higher rank than me told me to leave and not waste my time...ppffft.

Anyway, battle starts and he throws of an expose defenses, so I get ready to use spirit bond, and as suspected, he uses shadow prison and throws off his combo.
What he doesnt know is that for each time he hits me over 60 dmg (which he does), I get healed 94...which makes his spike not so spiky, and Ï survive all the time, withouth problems
And this happens maybe 7 times before he leaves and called me n00b.

Skill: Escape

reason: i have yet to find a better stance for the length and recharge time

has happened a few times in RA where the opponents lacked any way of getting thru my stances 2 on 1 no problem 3 on 1 can be interesting. Earlier tonight I was called annoying when the end of the match was me VS 3 warriors and a monk, which i take as a compliment.

Hmmm, lets see...

I will have to say Mist Form. Its great for farming and fun in PvP. Whenever I decide to use water in aliance battles I bring either shatterstone or Mist Form as an elite.
You'd be surprised how many people (read: wammos) don't have a clue what mist form does. Sometimes, 2 warriors and a dervish are attacking you, while you can simply ignore them and freeze their monk to death. See a sin hex being cast on you? Mist Form! Saved my life so many times and its always funny to see.

Another fun skill is Water Trident. Just for fun, I cast Ice Prison on a warrior chasing me, then spammed Water Trident on him. You could feel his frustration through the computerscreen :-p.

skill: Assassin's Promise

deion: assassin elite hex, deadly arts

why: it allows me to recharge my combos instantly after I kill and gets energy back (really the assassin's dream)

story: solo-spiked 3 casters in AB by hexing them, then stepping to them and killing them one by one in about 15 seconds, they never saw it coming >:D

Favourite skill - Broad Head Arrow

Why - DAZED!!!

Story - Ummm, Ra vs 3 sins and a monk, i got broad head arrow onto the monk then pulled out my shortbow and spammed flurry, the only skill the monk could get off was reversal of fortune. The monk eventually gave up, said "gg" and logged. Then the sins really went straight to the slaughter without their reversal of fortune protector ^^

diion: best solo skill for warriors IMO

story: i tried it out a few months ago and i was able to solo places like SF, dragons lair though i died vs glint:P, and whole Hell's Precipice(which is really fun to do xD)

I LOVE this skills cuz it has a health degen of -5
And you can spam this! Lol

In PvP I was using my Mesmer and that person could not attack cast a spell or anything AS his health was degenin -13!!!

Though i must say that across all of my main professions none of the skills or elites are my fav, though ill post 2 skills i love and use.

IGN descríption along with name:

Power Leech
If target foe is casting a Spell, that Spell is interrupted and for 10 seconds whenever that foe casts a Spell, you steal up to 1-7 Energy from that foe.

Frustration
Hex Spell. For 5-17 seconds, target foe casts Spells 50% slower and takes 5-41 damage whenever interrupted while casting a Spell.

Main 2 skills in my Mez's RA build, i doubt i have yet to fail annoying a single target so far using my build.

I tend to stick far away from cookie cutter builds and meta builds making my own for my chars and thoroughly testing.

Skill:Gladiators Defence
Reason:You turn back all attacks from you which pretty much shutdowns the average of 4 sins you see in AB.
Story: I was running one of my favorite builds, which my guildies have called the the Pain in the Arse.It invovles four base skills Glades Defence, Riposte, Deadly Riposte, and Sliver Armor. I was runnning back and forth from ranger to the warrior shrine capping when 2 sins, one tank, and a ice ele cam round. Priority one was that ele so i started smakkin them around i easily threw off the warrior, and killed one sin, but the ele was tricky and they were saying i was only antitank and that i was noob, so i clicky on Sliver armor... dead ele, and the entire time glads defence kept me alive, if i ever make a PvE warrior thats first skill i would unlock with tomes.

Illusionary Weaponry (Elite Enchantment Spell. For 30 seconds, you deal no damage in melee, but whenever you attack in melee, target foe takes 8...34 damage.)

with my R/ME with daggers and stances the life in RA became horribly funny

skill: Double Dragon (eli elite)

Degyption: it has 2 massive powerful hits to all surrounding foes for 119 dmg

Story: it was one of the first ever elites i capped, i then went and helped someone do minister cho's estate, and when all the animals attack you nearer the end of the mission i had about 12 of them around me and used my newly capped skill, it took about 500dmg away from each foe...

i was all like... DID U C WUT I JUST DID DERE!

Favorite Skill: Unsteady Ground -knocks down attacking foes along with dmg over time.(Earth ele Elite)

Use this skill on my pvp earth ele build.If you have been knocked down in AB and don't know why it was me.LOL!!
Anyways in game I love getting surrounded by a full group of minions and destroying every one of them. I also enjoy killing over zealous sins before they can run away.It's funny when they are in mid combo and realise they picked the wrong target!

mending-I miss the good old days ^_^

I used to bring mending on my warrior and it gave me +2 health regen and I was soo excited about it until ppl started calling me a noob ='( then I ran into my room and cried (j/k) and started using...healing signet!!!!

No, s-cr-i-p-t kiddies were using it to inject things into the site, which caused some of the trojan problems.

Favorite Skills:

Skull Crack

(basically) You interrupt your target, and daze them for like 10 seconds or so.

My team had no monks, and we took out a team with 2 monks because I had skull crack.

Conjure Phantasm

You know the deal, it gives them degen.

I was in RA in the level 10 arenas, my whole team and a rangers whole team were dead, and we had used our res sigs, so it was 1 vs 1. I put conjure on the ranger, and she poisoned me, I kept dodging her arrows and she died, then her poison killed me, resulting in a tie, sending both teams back to RA.....it was the first time I have ever seen a tie in PvP(I dont pvp too often).

Update in whenever I dont feel lazy.

Story: This skill was briefly named Enadiz Headbutt. The name was a tribute to the famous French soccer player Zinedine Zidane (Enadiz, spelled backwards) who was sent off the field for headbutting the Italian player Marco Materazzi in the 2006 World Cup final match, the last match of Zidane's career.

Capped from the Boss Enadiz the Hardheaded (Arkjok Ward).

Fave skill: power block

interupt + disable skills w/ same atribute 4 like 12 sec

stoty me and my friend whent 1v1 and i brought power block and power spike. he never cast a spell on me and i anoyed him 4 about 8 min before he died.

Story: GvG vs some random rank 200 guild I'd never heard of before on a PUG guild. I monked and we flawlessed in 10 minutes. Then we did it again like 4 more times.

slinter weapon. I like to use it to beat ppl up.

it last for ages and has a short recharge time so u can splinter up ur whole party and just do crazy aoe, it works awesome with a dervish.

I have no clue why I like it so much. But whenever my friend and I are running I always go "Make Haste!" and he goes "Charge!". Good times. Good times.

des-cri-pt-ion: Must follow an off-hand attack. If it hits, you deal 5...41 damage and target foe loses one Enchantment. This attack cannot be blocked.

reason why: it rapes dervs, your basic w/mo, eles, and prot monks.

story: me versus 2 dervs with mystic regen in ab. 20 seconds later there was 2 less dervs stinking up my air.

everyone who attacks me stinks up my air=p
