Graphics Glitch

Hello, my graphics are very funky, I got problems with seeing other peoples armor in outposts!
Really not only armor, but some hairs!

For example, if I see a warrior with fow helmet in an outpost, the armor that is in front of the mouth is like, golden shiny, not black and obsidian at all.

And some male ranger hair (the one with a little metal bandana kinda, from tyria), I dont see any hair at the front, only the area at end of head.

Here comes the big problem tho, I cant see the "real" female necro fow armor

Can anyone pleaase tell me whats wrong?!

RE: Graphics Glitch

Make some screenshots if you can ;)
And use FRAPS to take a ''raw'' screenshot, why? Cause i noticed that i have a minor glitch with trees in Guild Wars, sometimes in the distance their just big blurry lined cubes just really weird, and when i take Guild Wars screenshot it will automaticly pump up the graphics, and they dissapear, however using fraps that doesn't happen.

Think you can do the same trick (google Fraps)

And just for the information, my drivers are fully upgraded: Geforce 6800 128MB AGP 8x

Uhm, I run GW on the highest graphics..
Maybe you dont see the problem...
The female necro armor doesnt look like that...at all.
The graphics are bad on other persons in outposts for all.
Look up the female necro fow, and look at how I see it.

It's not my graphics settings...

RE: Graphics Glitch

As always, you always see people's armors and characters at that, an the most minimum stripped graphics while in an outpost or town. Theres no changing that.

The trees that look weird..thats normal, same for big things, what you are seeing is 2d, everyone sees stuff like that in 2d from a distance. You guys are all ok i can assure you.

Example: them things in the crystal desert as seen from the north side of Augury Rock its a blur but take a screenshot and its a full looking ship sail...

RE: Graphics Glitch

Wait wait, you said the graphics IN towns looks bad? NO WONDER now :P

In towns everyone looks bad quality, its for the less powerfull systems among us, and nothing you can change about it in your settings.

Over 80 people in the same place with different textures of armour on high quality kills some PC's, maybe not yours, but its a default setting.

I either did misread it or not, but that screenshot if from inside a town, so its no wonder they look bad quality then.

Thats 100% True, they make it so your computer performs faster in towns which is like a treat to old computers.

But my computer lags like hell in LA, Kamadan, Kaineng, Sunspear Sanct and Ascalon, for the first time i enter it after logging on, and fine after that. Hmm so funny how it started after Minipets were allowed in towns...

Heres my comp.

iMac
Windows and OSX
2 GB Of Ram
2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
And the Graphics card and LCD Unit which is a mouthfull:
(PCI-e Based) Built-in ATI Mobility Radeon x1600 256 MB with 20" Built-in (Internal DVI) LCD.
Oh yeah and uh Windows thinks it's a laptop...

The lag breaks through that stuff too...

You know what would be really cool is if gw supported dual core cpus like mine, and it could get 2.33 GHZ all to tiself while windows got the other 2.33 Ghz. And Guildwas on OSX.. But one can only dream of great things...
