| High Spirit Vs High Intellect |

Heya,
Now that I am reaching higher levels I have started to question what type of gear is best equip yourself with.
Now i realise that intellect plays a huge role for the mage as it adds masses to your mana pool plus increases the %age chance to crit with spells.
The simple question is, is it better to have a higher amount of spirit for mana regen, or simply have more intellect and larger mana pool.
I can see pro's and con's for both, but i was wandering if anyone else had this dilema before.

for a mage its a simple answer, mass your intel so u can last longer while casting and a higher crit%, your dont need the spirit for regen cuz u can conjure water. spirit is mainly only a concern 2 healers but then intel and spirit need 2 come up roughly even.

I have basically no spirit on my gear because I have Mana Gems that I congure and water and my once per 8min mana regen. I also have the talent for arcane concentration. So mana usually isnt an issue, only in pvp, and well its pvp...lol

I have a 67 frost mage and I have rarely any armor with spirit in it. We have mage armor and plenty of things to keep us alive, like revocation and such. The more intellect the better because you have to wait for the regen to start. You would only want more spirit if you wanted your revocation to work better.
