Possible New Farming 

Hey guys,

I was testing out a new build in PvP on the Challenge people and then a thought hit me, why not try duo farming? I was using my Enchanting Ele (E/D) and I thought, if you use this as a tank, and bring another damage dealer, you could get some pretty nice drops.

Enchanting Ele build: There are multiple ways this build runs, but it focueses around The Dervish skill Mystic regeneration and the ele enchant skills, Armor of Earth and Stoneflesh Aura. I would strongly recommend bringing Earth Attunement for energy management.

Attribute Points:

Earth Magic- 12+1+3
Energy Storage 10+1 (Optional +1)
Earth Prayers 8


Armor of Earth (Prophecies)
For 30 seconds, you gain 24-53 armor, but move 50%-21% slower.


Stoneflesh Aura (Nightfall)
Enchantment Spell. For 5-17 seconds, damage you receive is reduced by 1-25 and you are immune to critical attacks.


Mystic Regeneration (Nightfall)
Enchantment Spell. For 20 seconds, you have +1 to +3 Health regeneration for each Enchantment on you. When this Enchantment ends, you lose one Enchantment.


Earth Attunement (Prophecies)
For 36-55 seconds, you are attuned to Earth. You gain 30% of the energy cost of the spell each time you use Earth Magic.

This leaves four open spaces. You could bring a Res Sig, and then whatever you want. If you want the ultimate tanking capability, bring Obsidian Flesh.


Obsidian Flesh (Prophecies)
For 8-20 seconds, you gain +20 armor and cannot be the target of enemy spells, but move 50% slower.

If you want some damage bring Stone Daggers and Sandstorm.

Stone Daggers (Prophecies)
You send out two stone daggers. If it hits, each stone dagger strikes for 3-20 earth damage.

Sandstorm (Nightfall)
Elite Spell. Create a Sandstorm at target foe's location. For 10 seconds, nearby foes are struck for 10-30 earth damage each second and attacking foes are struck for an additional 10-30 earth damage each second.

This leaves you with one optional skill. Maybe you could use Silver Armor for an extra enchantment along with extra damage.

The other person that you bring with you is either another ele, or a necro.

The Ele is a water snarer, and the Necro is a Spiteful Spirit build. These two build will come soon.

Water Snarer Build:

Attribute Points:
Water Magic- 12+1+3
Energy Storage- 9
Healing Prayers- 9


Maelstrom (Prophecies)
Spell. Create a Maelstrom at target foe's location. For 10 seconds, foes adjacent to that area are struck for 10-22 cold damage each second. Maelstrom interrupts spell-casting when it hits. This spell causes exhaustion.


Ice Spikes (Prophecies)
Hex Spell. Target and adjacent foes are struck for 20-68 cold damage and move 66% slower for 2-5 seconds.


Deep Freeze (Prophecies)
Hex Spell. You cause a deep freeze at target foe's location. All foes in this location are struck for 10-70 cold damage. For 10 seconds, they move 66% slower.


Water Attunement
Enchantment Spell. For 36-55 seconds, you are attuned to Water. You gain 30% of the Energy cost of the skill each time you use Water Magic.


Dwayna's Kiss
Spell: Heal target other ally for 15-51 health and an additional 10-30 health for each enchantment or hex on that ally.


Healing Touch
Spell: Heal target touched ally for 16 to 51 health. Health gain from Divine Favor is doubled for this spell.


Elemental Attunement
Elite Enchantment. For 30-50 seconds, you are attuned to Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. You gain 50% of the Energy cost of the spell each time you use magic associated with any of these elements.

Keep up your enchantments and use Deep Freeze and Ice Spikes, followed by Maelstrom.

Or you might be able to bring a Spiteful Spirit Necro. Because of the increased speed of Hard Mode, it would cause extra damage.

SS Necro:

Attribute Points:
Curses: 12+1+3
Soul Reaping- 8
Healing Prayers- 10


Awaken the Blood
Enchantment Spell: For 20-39 seconds, you gain +2 Blood Magic and +2 Curses, but whenever you sacrifice health, you sacrifice 50% more than the normal amount.


Spiteful Spirit
Elite Hex spell: For 8-20seconds, whenever target foe attacks or uses a skill, Spiteful Spirit deals 5-35 shadow damage to that foe and all adjacent foes.


Suffering
Hex Spell: For 6-25 seconds, target foe and all nearby foes suffer health degeneration of 2.


Chilblains
Spell: You become poisoned for 10 seconds. Nearby foes are struck for 10-37 cold damage and lose 1-2 enchantments.


Signet of Agony
Signet: Sacrifice 10% max health and suffer from bleeding for 25 seconds. All nearby foes take 10-37 damage.


Plague Sending
Spell: Sacrifice 10% max Health. Transfer one negative condition and its remaining duration from yourself to target foe and all adjacent foes.


Dwayna's Kiss
Spell: Heal target other ally for 15-51 health and an additional 10-30 health for each enchantment or hex on that ally.


Healing Touch
Spell: Heal target touched ally for 16 to 51 health. Health gain from Divine Favor is doubled for this spell.

With the Spiteful Spirit, you put up Awaken the Blood, followed by SS as often as possible, and then use Chiblians followed by Plague Sending, and then the same combo, except with Signet of Agony. Use Suffering when it seems fit, although it is a flexible skill.

If you can for ease, put the other 2 builds for your buddy too then. Could try it for a test drive.

using Serpent's Quickness and Obsidian Flesh correctly will allow you to keep up OF all the time. The correct order is...

SQ + OF + OF + SQ + OF + OF + SQ + OF...

SQ will last just long
enough to allow you to
recast OF again while
being affected by SQ.

ultimate tank, it can solo tank (almost) unlimited mobs in the FoW, and can be used to solo FoW and many other places if you add sliver armor and stone daggers in for damage, and troll ungent for some healing and anti-degen if u get it somehow.

A very effective build, but sorry to sry to say its been done. Most people stoped using GuildWiki after they removed builds but they recently posted a website with all their builds. So if you hit up that place you will find that build for soloing and for duo. I also use a variant of that build to farm tomes as E/Rt and I'm thinking about mabye posting it on this site if it hasnt been done.

i tried this in doa the other day without the armour of earth,
using glpyh of concentration, i also had a bonder hero using
life bond and life barrier and mending, didnt take any damage at all.

The problem i had was killing the enemies, as when my nukers go into spellcasting range of the warrior, the rangers and spellcasters that WERE NOT IN AGGRO of them started attacking them.
