How do young adults deal with boredom

im so bored im bout to go insane :( i got banned from guild wars for 335 hours thanks to my lovly friends, and i have nothing to do i tried to skate and broke my 2 favorite decks, how would u guys deal with no gw time?

I have no idea, if you got a nice friends circle you could always hang out with them right? Do stuff what you like to do really... asking others is pointless cause... we have our own things we like, doesnt really mean you like it ;)

well i got drunk and wasted the night it all night began, i let my friends on my pc bc i have a awesome azz alienware pc tht has neon lights and the whole gaming addict look to it. i did the airbrushin myself and they wanted to play gw but my friends are all good ppl but bein drunk and wasted while playin gw is not a good combination i take it lol, but wht happened was my friends started pmin random ppl on gw in random arena and sayin some cruel shite lol, when they didnt mean any harm i was in the living room jamming on my paiste drumset of slipknot joey jordison ftw!! with my soon to be gf and wasnt payin attention to wht was goin on in my gaming room and ya long story but to make it short i got banned for 335 hours for racial slurs towards ethnic and sexual gender when it wasnt me tht said anything ive been gaming on gw since beta and never been banned until now so ya i got screwed but i love my friends, so i guess ill be bored :(

watch tv
play something besides guild wars
kill ur frineds for geting u banned in the first place

No offense, but if you let them play unsupervised.... totally your fault, dude. But no GW does suck, and I sympathize!

Pick up an old hobby again - drawing, writing bad poetry, playing a musical instrument.

Pick up a new hobby

Start researching skills and putting together some new builds to try out when you do get back on GW.

Pass the time w/ your new GF - movie marathoning, wining & dining, convincing her pet bulldog that you are a friend & not his next meal....

Maybe spend some quality time w/ your own pet, or family members

Dig an old game back out of the closet to play

Get a pen pal

Write an article for your fav gaming mag

Read every magazine in your house front to back

Clean your room, organize your music collection, and fold all your socks & underwear

Make a random new friend in RL

Play an ol' fashioned paper-n-dice RPG

Take up an exercise regime

Go cloud-watching

Mix every cereal in your cupboard together for breakfast

Get ahead on any homework/school projects you have

Go for a run

yeah i usually play basketball for 2-3 hours a day, but idk if u like sports or not, if you do i would get like 5 other ppl and play football or somethin too.

I'm never bored. There's way too much to do and never enough time to do it in. Rent a movie, read a book, write an essay, clean your room, study, make fun of strangers, etc.

I reccomend ding something similar to what you did to get yourself banned, except, supervise your friends this time, lol. Get your friends, play darts. Do NOT be drunk while playing it..lol. Sports is another good thing to do, not clickin the mouse mate =P. Perhaps a shooping spree? Not only girls do those, me and my friends go to the mall for like 5hrs a week. Parties. Organize your computer, if its sloppy. Play a different game for a while. ( Starwars Battlefront 1+2 online ftw ). Heres a new one.. Read! =o Reading isnt always fun, especially when you start the book. But eventually, youll get very deep in the book. I do NOT reccomend reading harry potter, the books have gotten old, and are just plain stupid, hopefully I didnt offend anyone with that statement.. Channel Surf! Since I have cable, I have about 500+ channels.. so when I get bored, Ill go thru each channel 10 times! =D Might I reccomend a job? That is, if you dont have one. Go over to friends houses. Perhaps try WoW? I find it to be interesting, and a bit fun. Exteel is an amazing game, try it out. Perhaps get a secondary account for when THIS kind of stuff happens? Clean the house.. that can take maybe 3hrs for a 3000sq ft house/apartment. Maybe get a bit more involved with the community here at amp? ^.^ Watch movies. As said, Addicting Games Thats just about everything I do.. lol Hope this helped you!

( And incase anybody didnt know, this is my last post for about 1 month, I will still get on GW though, most likely afk. RL problems, and some other stuff in the way.. So I wont be getting on AMP for a bit. And the only thing better than amp is GW, so its what im doing. )

Ugh, there is something to do for 14 days, go to prison and see if you can pull a Paris after 14 days (But not get thrown back in jail).

Seeing as u got a alien ware pc i would downnload warrock from warrock.net, its like CS but better imo. Theres also Warcraft 3 TFT online which kept me intrested for over a year, but recently started playing again and kept me intrested for 2 weeks. Or finnaly u can get wasted some more :)

Well, as someone said before, its your mistake and yours only, even if you where drunk, you cannot blame anyone else but your own self for letting him game.

Theres too much to do, if you are lost without GW's i really suggest you get out more, you say you have a girlfriend? Then now might be a good time to spend some time with her.

Write a book, play another game, watch a film, read, do something else constructive, play drums, listen to music, watch TV, fish, rollerblade, go for walks, go shopping, skate, clean the home, go out with friends, go bowling......
