Elec as secondary 

What do you guys think of eletric as a secondary all around?

Hows the damage resistance
Does it have a big end drain
Any good dmg off it?

Electric Armour is a very good secondary, if you ask me.

Good godmode power, very very good endurance heal, and good resistance.

Only downsides are (to me), the fact it doesn't have a heal, so you'll be smart if you take Aid Self, and the fact that its knockback protection (Grounded) only works when you're near the ground.

Hey,
Elec secon is the prolly the best secondary for PVP, and it does more than just hold its own in PVE as well. As Arrius pointed out, no self heal in the set so you will need Aid Self. My Stone/Elec brute is lvl 50 and his is 6 slotted with Recharge Reduction, 2 Decrease Interrupt Time, and 3 Heals. Basically I can stand in the middle of a mob and use it. The last one in the Elec secon is Power Surge which is bar none the best power ever in a secondary imo. Though when it starts to wear off(the icon begins to blink) you will need to seek a safe place to rest or eat inspirs quickly. I skipped Lightning Field, the second power in the set, because the damage it does is minimal compared to the amount of endurance it takes. Another good thing that Arrius mentioned is Grounded. A great power on the ground, hence the name, but if you are hit in the air you will get knockback and/or stunned. Not good in PVP, so stick to the ground when engaged. One last note, the first 4 shields in the elec secondary, I have 6 slotted with the Aegis IOE set and this toon takes some crazy amount of damage. I got hit by a lvl 53 Darkwolf in a mish yesterday and it only did 133 points of damage. Now, I also have Tough too so draw your own conclusions. Didn't they change Grounded to where it works even when you're not connected to the ground? I can't find what i thought i saw for reference, but i thought i saw in a patch where they made Grounded effective in the air as well.

For Grounded what i did is slot it with a steadfast protection: knockback protection, and that seems to help.

As for the /elec set, i think it is great, has almost everything you need/want from a brute secondary set, only thing it lacks is toxic resist and no self heal.

Also here is my brute's build, he is em/elec, a very good build, fully IO'd out, and he kicks ass.

note i went with impervious skin for the +recharge, which is what i wanted, but i did how ever slot static shield with aegis, cause that set seemed to work well with the power, i dropped stun for disruptor blast, so i could get some + acc, while still getting the 6.25% recharge boost from posi's blast, which stupefy offered as well, but not the +acc.
