I agree.
Rangers are great combat support. Trap and pull to ambush foes, keep 'em from running with cripple(both at the same time with the right trap), interupt foes, provide different buffs with spirits and they do decent damage.

I do love my ranger the most of all as well =)
Rangers aren't the best in anything really, but they are good at everything... This makes them very versatile and fun to play with.
My heart goes to Tribina, my lovely ranger =)

I disaggree Tribina, Rangers are the best trappers in the game. So what if they're the only ones with traps, they're still the best at it. *L*

Yup, Rangers are sweet. It's my Main Character and would never want to errase him.

Of course, every profession is best at it's attributes ;-)
no doubt there..
what i mean i in a wider context than trapping, like:
damage dealing
defensive play
luring
strategy play
even healing

Yes rangers are a great deal of fun to play .. i love mine and id never delete him, rangers are one of the more balanced classes you can find to play with a nice range of dmg and self preservation skills without the need to really rely on a 2nd profession.
And yes trapping is great fun, just got into Stygian and UW trapping, its lots of fun :)

I remember back in the good ol' days of prophecies when rangers were unappreciated and it was often hard to find a group..ah times have changed.
The only problem with my ranger is that I can never find a good bow..

What about Mesmer then, lol.
But for the bow, I'd say Drago's Flatbow for main use, an vampiric (Elswyths recurve bow) is allway's usefull and a shortbow for fast attacks.

I agree finding a group as a mesmer is hard but w/e.
As far as rangers go, I love using Broad Head Arrow and all the interupt skills. Definitely one of my favorite classes

Yeah i got to say my ranger is my fav char ^^
i just recently got the 'people know me' title with her :)
by far imo the best profession to play.

Out of all of my characters, I probably play the Ranger the most, behind my Sin.
I normally run standard or conjured barrage, or a Broad Head/Interrupt build for both my Main and my heroes. I have an army of doom team I run with.... Barrage Ranger, 2 hero Barrage Rangers (all three with black moas) and an MM. Not much stops me.
Yeah, Rangers are insanely awesome.

Eh, I have to say my ranger is my favorite char.. Spirit lord made easy, BUNNY THUMPER FTW! Traps Pwn, Interrupting monk in RA is hilaurious, Burning Arrow+Apply Poison=LOL They are just great overall, but then again, the warrior can pwn too!
