This is my first build so I hope you like it:
Skills
***fill the empty slot with whatever skill you wish- just remember your running on 0 energy AND YOU WANT TO TAKE DAMAGE (don’t take a defensive skill). Rush is worth considering for jogging from place to place but I personally find that riposte is enough***
Equipment: decent sword (furious hilt is useful but otherwise really doesn't matter, I use a long sword with +15% while enchanted mod), max shield, max armor (again your preference – I use knights)
Runes: I use a major vigor (I’m not rich enough to splash out on the superior) and superior swordsman ship, with minor tactics and strength (but again its up to you)
The idea is to farm stone elementals in old Ascalon out side Sardelac sanitarium ( In hard mode) quickly and with little difficulty.
Enter old Ascalonfrom Sardelac sanitarium and cast both auroras’. Head left towards the groups of elementals (and avoid crawl). When you engage a group of elementals use auspicious parry as soon as possible- this skill is essential(when fighting large mobs you will find that you have to spam AP and lions comfort almost continuously)- then simply cycle riposte and lions comfort until the elementals are down.
NB: if you feel like it you can very easily farm cobblestone (stone elemental boss) just cycle skills as useual.
The route I take :
PROS:
- Good drops; Usually a golds runs, tomes, lock picks and rubies.
- The run doesn't take long (5 minutes at the most).
- a lot quicker than 55 or VwK farming (i tried both)
Cons
- large groups can be a challenge, but are usually possible.
- crawl are a tad hard to farm so I’d suggest not bothering.
Alterations?: I personally can’t find a more effective way to use this build- taking signets is pointless as they spend most of the time recharging. There is no need to bring any other attack skills unless you feel like farming any ranged attack enemies or casters. If your bored and feel like speedily dispatching a lone elemental or maybe two you could try stripping (which increases the damage the elementals take).
****CHANGES SINCE MAKING THIS BUILD****** -smiting: 7 (or 6, your choice)
-tactics: 13 (get 4 strikes and means you can survive pretty much any sized group)
-swordsmanship: 12 (every little helps)
-strength: 8
for a longer run look at the route on http://guildwars.gameamp.com/guide/viewGuide/2947.php by Fil i am.

Very nice. The R/E Zelnehlun build works almost the same. Not quite as fast, but just as effective

Nice build! As for myself, I have only try the hard mode with my ele... I can't farm this place alone, but can easily beat it with a healer, even if it's a merco.

Very nice, perhaps I'll have to get my warrior out of storage for this.
Another build for this same area, with an ele, is listed in the guides section from Keo, located HERE.
