while is was collecting the new sunspear and luxon/kurzick skill i saw the following dervish skills:
Eternal Aura (Recharge Time = 30 Seconds )
All nearby foes take 40...88 holy damage. For 10 seconds, nothing happens. When this Enchantment ends, all other Dervish skills are recharged.
so: every 40 seconds you can recharge all your dervish skills, this means you can keep up all avatars except Avatar of Grenth if my calculations are right :o
EDIT: I tried, and i could keep up Avatar of Balthazar up constantly :D

I dont think it involves forms because its disabled, not recharging.
We wonder, "Why?" when we lose friends, and there are never any good answers.

I agree, but, if you think about it, this is PvE only, which means the avatars will still be balanced where balance matters, PvP. So, theres a chance it wasnt ment to work on the avatar's, but theres a chance it was.....I guess we will see in the next few weeks.

well, since almost everyone here on gameamp said they could keep up avatar forever when they heard of this skill theres about a 99% chance that Anet also thought of the combination of a avatar + the new skill.

True, but seeing how many times skills have been glitched before, theres also a high chance they didnt want it to work with the skill, but it does anyway. Remember, when you use an avatar, it does NOT recharge, it becomes disabled....therefore recharging all your skills should NOT remove the disabled state of the avatar's.

Or because it's only for PvE you could look at it as their way to insure that the Avatars see more use.

i dont see any reason for anet to nurf the skill because it is juse usable in pve which means the avatars(pve useless) will now get some real love in it and stop being thought of as crap or a waste of skill as iv come 2 know them as. avatar of balthazar will finaly allow a derv to TANK properly in the place of a warrior majority of the time giving them some use in pve other then having to be enchantment tanks which just get removed constantly in NF

Meh, look at all the skills for every class. Each is superpowered in its own way. Of course, each can only be used in PvE so it doesn't really matter (and the power lies with the title so it's like getting a reward).

All sunspear skills (also the rez sig) are only meant for PvE and are disabled for PvP; there fore the skill wont get updated i think since they GW community stated they wanted avatars for PvE; but not generally for PvP.
As long as PvP isnt affected by the skill; its a pretty good one ^^

as said, this does NOT give u an infinite avatar as they are disabled for 120 secs when used, not recharging
edit: i guess i've been proven wrong :P

I've never thought of them as crap. I've always used Balth's Avatar in PvE and Melandru in the rare ocasions that I do PvP with my derv. I doubt that it will be nerfed, I mean look at Sunspear res sig >_> Possible 100% Health and 100% energy and you appear at person who res'd you's location or them at yours. Thats more broken than any of the new skills IMO and it isn't going to be nerfed.
I have a feeling they had the avatars in mind when they made this skill, because most of the derv skills don't have a long enough recharge anyways to make this as powerful as the others anyways, unless you consider the avatars.
Again, this is just my opinion though.

I was using this for PvE and it recharges the disabled avatars. very efficient for when you can't use your wurms.
