I only skimmed the topic and I already know that she works for Arena Net and does a lot of interactions with users online.
But aside from that, why do I keep hearing so much about her? Is that she has a nice personality or funny, or what else does she do other than relations? Does she have a reputation to the point that just about every GW site I go, there is something mentioned about her.
I'm lazy so I am going to ask for the Reader's Digest version. (in the mean time I'm going to check Wikiopedia or something)

Gaile gray is the community manager of anet, she gives the players info on upcoming updates.

I already saw that.... my question is: What is it about her that makes her get mentioned over and over?
Is she cool, funny, friendly, what? I just keep seeing her name dropped over and over.

She is the link between us gamers and the ANet staff. She comes and talks to us in game, Community Relations of some sort....and she does the best conga lines!

Well personality maybe, but she isnt loved for her looks. *shivers* Ugliest women ive ever seen. But being a Marketing Manager for GW could be Fun ^^

So basically she isn't afraid to get down and dirty with the rest of us. That's awesome customer relations, if you ask me.

just a little more info... she also makes appearances and posts on several of the GW forums out there, she is also the one that gets all the hate bashing when anet makes a ghange, for whatever reason... she is the voice of Anet to us, and also our voice to Anet, but she takes a lot of heat/flack

She's like the department of public information for A-Net. Spreads rumors which get peoples hopes up and then the design team decides to implement the changes 6 months later. She tells us when things are going to happen and what things are going to happen. She's not always right because she doesn't actually do the coding herself.
