| GW Addiction (Before and After) |

Hey all, just some shots of how you can tell you're addicted to gaming, particularly, Guild Wars!
It took me a while, but not much actual effort to get my 'wife-to-be' interested in gaming! more or less i needed to come clean with my addiction and she understood and is now choosing to take part, which is easier on me, because now i dont need to really change anything except be a guide =) once she becomes higher rank then me and more armor sets i think i'll retire... :P
Prior to Mutual Addiction.
Note: the Smiles and Attention to the camera, as there's no computer screen in that room.
Addictive Tendencies.
Note: All Attention towards the screen, the wonderful Gameamp T-Shirt, paying no attention to me, etc. (i use the laptop so i can play GW even when natures beckoning)
Long Term User.
Note: Because there's no screen in a direct line of site, sanity is kept inside by holding onto a plush fish. The A-net GW shirt is another horrible sign that this has been a long addiction, along with camo pants.

My ex girlfriend got me into Guild Wars, and we are obviously not togetehr anymore... blame the game? I wouldn't, but you can go ahead and try.

I love how you have a look of zeal in your eyes in the first pic and in the last you look like a zombie. It's cool you and your wife got zombified by guild wars together.

Nice pictures mate, and good job with getting her interested in Guild Wars. Awesome indeed. .. I haven't gotten to say it before, but thank you... I know we never got to have that chat... but things are better now and I'm glad to see your life going so well :-)

You can always tell from the eyes. The first pic you look so alive, then you seem zombie-like.
But I cant complain, happens to me all the time, my parents are actually worried about it lol.
p.s. Laptop setup FTW! I do the same thing, Laptop lets me roam around the house without letting Guild Wars leave my sight =D
Edit: You know your an addict when you stay up till midnight on GW then up till 1 AM on GameAmp.

She might not be buying an Asura with his ectos, but she is most certainly playing on his account. Make her get her own account so you can play together. Or better yet, buy one for her.

Brynden, that's a great plan, now you can give eachother account cards, skill pins, minipets, ecto's, and more Guild Wars related things on Valentine's Day ^^

lol i let my girlfriend try-out gw aswell wich ended in her takin an hour to finally pick a char based on 'wich hairstyle was the best' after that was done she was dissapointed that she had to wait to try out a new armor ^^

I tried real hard to get my wife to play GW. I would have even purchased her her own machine, anyone she wanted!! But I gave up after time. I am lucky in that she does not care how much time I spend with GW. Im in a 30+ guild and we have alot of couples. Have you not heard, the couple that plays together stays together.
I got to get me one of those t-shirts.

My girlfriend doesn't play GW or any games at all, but these are signs that it's getting into her:
1. She has one eye on the TV the other on the PC screen.
2. She wants to sit on your lap saying she just wants to be close... but starts asking questions about the game.
3. She cheers for you when you kill something/someone.
4. She calls you a "noob" when she's pissed.
5. She asks to let her play for a bit.
6. She gets excited when she kills the level 1 scales in pre.
7. She starts conversation about the game.
8. She says she thinks it's cool the characters have "emotes"
LOLZ, this is straight from doctor "Meumesmo" ^_^

I got the official GW shirt prior to the games release in 2005 from some crazy bloke!! jk, i got it at Future Shop with the game purchase, they only had X amount of shirts and i guess i got lucky enough to get one!
the gameamp shirt my fiance is wearing is an awesome shirt, really good quality and i suggest anyone that doesn't have at least 2 to get 3!
Bry, lol, she's got her own account but likes the 'wings' on the paragon so sometimes goes on mine.
now, to get her as an AMP member is the next step!

That's Awesome... I remember when me and my now wife got together she wasn't too into playing games online... shortly after bugging me while I was playing she took over my computer while I was at work. So came the second computer and DSL... Now she is worse than me at times. It's Great. We became the Leader and Co Leader of a guild that was created the day GW was released and have kept it running ever since.
