| Everquest 2 Game Comics seem more active than ever. |

|
It seems that more than ever a lot of talented artists and humorists are turning out some clever adn entertaining comics. Here are some sites that are recently very active.
1) Hurikhans Comics which is run by this sites former administrator the most awesome fellow known as Dread Pirate
2) Dwarven Cartographer Brasse's Comics by the famous game map maker Brasse a collection of great comics for many games.
3) EQ2 Battle Mage
Is not a comic site but just so happens to also have some comics.
So if you need a lift or a giggle check some of these out and tell us what you think of any that stand out or you can even jump in with some comic sites of your own. :)

I was told once that game comics were lacking for EQ2.
Well, not anymore! I think it's great that we have so many to choose from now.
Hell, why choose,? I read them all!

at http://www.jeriahbook.com which also has some great EQ2 comics. While we are talking comics Dread Pirate has a nice new comic on his site http://www.hurikhanscomcs.com :)

Yea Buttercup! :-) Love that movie.
Jeriah's is pretty neat. Where most of the comics I've seen are like the daily ones we get in the newspaper, Jeriah's is an entire comic book online.

I am a fan of Hurikhans comics and I have always been big on Jeriah. ;)
All kidding aside, I just got word about this site and thought I would stop by and check it out. No better place to start then on a conversation about Everquest 2 comics.

Wow I gotta say I am so very pleased to be in such nice company here and really appreciate the fellow fan site folks that have joined us here. As someone who has strong past ties to the comic world I can say I really appreciate the time and effort that you all put into entertaining us.

Well I have just gotten started on your comics Jeriah but I can tell you I really love them and look forward to your next one. :) Some of your techniques remind me of Jim Starlin's work on the Metamorphasis Oddysey stories published in Epic Magazine. It really is great not only having you here but active in these forums as well. :)

Thanks for the kind words Mikester. Now I am going to have to go read Metamorphasis Oddysey. :)
I knew it would be challenging to write a comic book that I wanted the avid Everquest 2 player would enjoy and someone that has never played EQ2 would also like. I feel like every issue I make is closer to what I envisioned Jeriah to be before I started.
Its always good to hear from people that notice how much work it takes for each issue.

My first job was in a Comic store which also put out it's own comic, so I had a chance to see the labor involved and truly appreciate the effort involved. In high school my best friend and I did our own comic but that only lasted for 3 issues and circulation was less than 100 copies and thanks goodness I only did some of the art work and only on the first issue because I have very little to no artistic skill and for the public good I readily admit it. :)

Yeah, growing up I allways wanted to draw comics. I soon realized that wasn't going to happen. When this opportunity arose I had to jump on it. Its been a blast since.

Nice job to both of you on your current works and I might also note that Hurikhans comics has a new one up as well. Now might be a good time to let everyone know that of course I am thrilled to add links for you but I generaly wait 24 hours before adding them in case you would like to. One of the things that really hooked me on GameAmp was that anyone with an account can submit content to shape, influence, and enhance the site while earning a little credibility for themselves. So if I hold of on adding a link or other item sometimes it is to give you the time to do it yourself and earn the credibility. The newest comics and content from all 3 of you are really great!

Dang I have been found out already! :) Yeah it is highelf but if you look in your fonts directory you will see a font called FAERLIE, and that is the same font as high elf. It sounds like it could be fae. The other option I was going to go with was the Pure Magic font, but the FAERLIE/HIGHELF looks more like fae to me.

Hey, just a heads up. I finished Issue 14 yesterday. I think you can start to get an idea from this story, of what the REAL main plot of Jeirah is.

I am very happy to see Jeriah's latest offering getting some well deserved praise all around the EQ2 community. Also Dread has been added an extra bit o good humor in his last few comics and who knows how with all that is going on at over at Eq2BattleMage that Bugloc has still managed to keep good offerings of Wings to the Rescue coming. I noticed that even Brasse has an offering this week. So many good comics so little time. :) Whew (brow wipe).
