| Stalkers and Patron Power Sets |

Hi there,
I'm approaching the point with my Dark Melee/ Ninjitsu Stalker that I need to start considering the viability of Patron Pool Sets.
I realise the point of the Patron sets are to give you something that you don't already have, but it appears that they give you completely useless abilities that probably impede your style, i.e Sniper attacks that will take you out of Hide, pets that will wake up all the enemies around you, ranged attacks that only deal Moderate damage.
Does anyone have any experience in this case?
